RUN! DON'T WALK! FAR FAR WAY. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.
I came across this company, saw the mixed reviews and thought I'd give them a try. WORST MISTAKE!
They have me random people they picked off the street. They pick any company to do your shipping and it just so happens i got the worst. 1 of the worst but the they up there. COASTAL IS JUST THE MIDDLE MAN. AND A TERRIBLE ONE AT THAT!
This company lost my stuff, water damage, are packed and just down right ride. And yet wanted more money on arrival. Shame on you Coastal Moving for just picking any company to give to your customers. The moving company has a BBB rating of F. Freaking F. How could you Coastal. Very Disappointed in the whole experience.
Worsr part is they won't pay for damage they have done. They (moving company) don't even like to pick to pick the phone. As many times as I have called, I have spoken to a answering machine more often than a human.
DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE LIKE ME AND GIVE THEM A CHANCE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU WILL GET! JUST KEEP AWAY! AND STAY FAR FROM MOVING EXPRESS & STORAGE INC
FYI- in the pic that is not how they move your stuff, nearly wrapped and placed. Your belonging are cramped into a truck, where boxes are beaten down to the point and they are falling apart.

I recently relocated from Florida to New York. I have a friend in the moving industry, so of course I called him first. He only does local, so he referred me to his guy for cross country moving. He was very nice and quoted us a price of over $7000!! For that much, I'll get a U-Haul or try one of those PODS. I then was talking to a friend of mine who referred me to Coastal Moving Group and am I overjoyed he did!! The price they came in with was under $5000 for the package they recommended. We packed up our house to the best of our ability and moving day came!! Coastal Moving called to say they were on the way and even packed up some of the things that were too big and awkward for us to pack. They delivered my furniture faster than estimated, in under a weeks time!! If you find yourself in need of a mover, I can not give Coastal Moving Group a high enough recommendation!! They, in my opinion went above and beyond what was asked!! They were helpful, courteous and were able to put my mind at ease about the move!! Call Coastal Moving for your moving needs!! You'll be glad you did!! I know I am!!

Ok so I had to leave a review. My girlfriend HATES moving so
I pretty much thought we were in for a nightmare. Ended up going pretty smoothly minus the later pick-up. Which they gave us a heads up on. Not sure if these horror stories are disgruntled customers over exaggerating or what but we actually had a REALLY GOOD experience. The only complaint was we had to call them regarding the late pick up and we were worried and wasted a little time but I guess the drivers aren't in contact 24/7 so the girl I spoke with immediately called the driver for an updated ETA. They did tell us there are time "windows" so all-in-all I'd say we will use them if we do a large move in the future.

You have it open this company was great no problems at all a from beginning to end they did what they said they were going to do had no problems with the price being increased like I heard with a lot of other companies the movers were very professional actually showed up in uniforms and everything got to my destination will out a scratch

Had a great moving experience with Coastal they explain the whole process on what to expect who the movers were what kind of experience they had what they had for insurance things I would have never guessed that I needed to know about moving. A lot of other companies didn't even go over any of those little details they just offered me a low price and figured I would go with that price isn't everything like anything in life you get what you pay for and I can say coastel was fair and the quality was great I'll recommend Coastal to anyone who would like to contact me and I'll definitely use them in the future

I made a review before and I was alittle stressed out at the time. My wife left me I had to move back to my parents. I put the move on my cc. Coastal was great the movers did there job and I was treated fairly sorry for the bad review before.

Thank you to everyone at Coastal Moving Group for helping me with my move. My representative at Coastal was professional and helped me the whole way through the move. They accommodated my special needs and my husband loved them as well. My pick up went so smoothly and the only downside is my delivery was delayed but your team called me. I understand things can happen, I felt reassured with the update that it wasn’t going to arrive when I expected. When the truck arrived, I was relieved and the driver even apologized to me. I hope I never have to move again but if I do I know who I am going to call first. Thank you for everything Coastal.

Let's just start with putting your name and phone number online to get an online estimate was a lot to take in. Calls came in from everywhere and non stop.

Coastal Moving was the first to call so naturally I answered the phone, during that call I had one 800 number call me so many times I was having trouble speaking with the moving coordinator, "Cody". He gave me the best advice ever by simply saying to answer the phone and let them know "I wasn't moving." The calls stopped immediately.

We went over a very thorough list of everything I was moving, 4 bedroom house, and within a few minutes of discussing when the truck would need to arrive I was able to get an amazing rate. Thousands less then a previous move! When I told him I needed to speak to my fiancé before spending this kind of money there was no pressure, he being married actually encouraged me to talk everything over with her first. We set an appointment to speak again the next day.

When I called back ready to pay for the move I was informed only a deposit was due at the time of booking and the remaining balance was even split into two separate payments, which to my surprise was the best news as it is not cheap to move. We went over every detail of the move and it was very simple and clear to understand.

Now getting close to the move my fiancé and I started getting a bit nervous, obviously. We received a call from a Quality Assurance specialist about 5 days before we were scheduled to be moved. We went over all of the details of the move: phone number, addresses and inventory going on the truck, lets just say this guy knew exactly what we needed. We had missed so many things from our original estimate that we had just over looked and of course having 90% of our home in boxes at this point realized our count was way under! He adjusted our initial deposit to accommodate for the additional space we required in the truck and informed us of the new total.

Let me begin with Coastal Moving Group's absolute attempt to do ALL they could for my move. The only reason they lack a star is because, no one is perfect (;

Now, my move was planned for the first week of April and I was set on picking a company that would assure me of their date. CMG informed me of a two-day window with notification after 5pm EST the day prior and I was the one who decided, that wasn't good enough.

So, I went with a company that required a low deposit and "guaranteed" a one-day pick up of my belongings from Texas. That was my first mistake. Long story short, I was left unable to change my day when I needed to, they claimed inflexibility yet showed up late, with no packing materials and asked for $675 more than I was contracted to upon arrival.

Enters Coastal Moving Group. I remember I spoke with a representative that told me a story about an elephant that I didn't forget. She told me that only if I decided to bring a baby elephant, would I be charged more on moving day. I checked my EMails, searched moving group, saw her name and called Giz.

CMG showed up for me THAT day. I paid less than originally asked for by the other need-not-be-named company and was taken care of with ease.

Looking back, I needed the two day pick up window with advanced notice the night before that I'd be in good hands with movers who I can dial directly.

It was seamless. Thank you so much for helping me get my items to Fort Lauderdale safely.

After prompt follow up on my review, I granted them a fifth star. Follow-up is important.

Can't get over how thorough they were through the process. I had Cody as my representative, he was with me every step of the way! Gave me my estimate, which was almost completely accurate to what I paid. I was actually under the amount they quoted me at with my weight and didn't even have to pay the full estimated price! Awesome customer service, detail oriented staff, and professional movers. You can't beat this service!

So I am moving to California from Florida and I sent a generic search for movers and my phone blew up within 10 minutes. So for that I was pleased but the calls became overwhelming to say the least. Suddenly I received a text from Bonnie from Coastal moving group. She made the horrific act of moving honestly, just way to easy... she was a God send. I sent her pictures of my stuff and a box count and she gave me a great price. Over the next few weeks as I added items I sent Bonnie pics and she updated my inventory. She made the process palatable to say the least and She was so kind and professional. They have done everything they said. Use this company for a pain free move. I moved 4ķ miles and the cost blew me away how affordable they were.

they picked up my items in LA 2 weeks ago and i have been unable to reach anyone to find out when they will arrive in TX. I have called every day since then, sometimes 2x/day and i cant get a call back or any information. I dont know if I will ever receive my things or if they are gone forever!

Amazing customer service, accurate estimate, great price and absolutely amazing Movers. Everything about this process was exactly as it was laid out to me when I called for a quote and although I did have a few more items than what was in my inventory they took care of it for me and even followed up after the move and sent my wife a Mother's Day card which we thought was The Ultimate Classic Touch.

This company put all the rumors about using a small private company to rest as far as I'm concerned. They had excellent customer service, were very prompt with everything they did, and the ACTUALLY got the move completed for the price I was quoted at. I choose to pay to have my whole home packed, which they gave me a great price on BTW, and the did a great job. I did have one piece of furniture damaged, but Coastal gladly helped rectify the problem. They asked me if I wanted to repair it or just get a whole new coffee table, to which I replied " NEW " of course and they did so without asking a single question or trying to talk me into letting them fix it. They even let me keep the damaged piece which I sold for $100 which made the deal even sweater. If you are looking for a privately owned company who cares and will tend to your needs personally and not just pass you around the corporate circle of no-fun, then I highly recommend this company!

This was my first big move from state to state. The services I received are some of the best! Staring from the time I booked my move to the time I was delivered, I have been nothing but pleased with this company. I have been treated with great kindness & customer service. I would DEFINITELY use there services again as well as recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU COASTAL MOVING for making my first big move a true success!

I moved from St. Augustine, FL to Baton Rouge, LA with Coastal Moving. My mother in law gave me their contact info and I'm thankful I used them. Awesome group of guys showed up, on time, and moved everything I had. No extra charge beyond my quote. Good job guys.

Had just a fantastic experience with Coastal Moving Group and crew. They were friendly and had the best attitudes the whole day despite having a "long carry", and stairs to navigate. Moving is a huge pain, but these guys made it a great day. Very grateful and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone moving long distance.

I decided to hire a moving company to help me move from Florida to South Carolina. I am so glad that I picked Coastal Moving Group! They are fast, friendly, and make sure all your items are well taken care of! More importantly, they are affordable! To pack and deliver an entire house of items from Florida to South Carolina cost me $2700!! Coastal Moving Group will be who I recommend to all my family and friends! This was my first time using a moving company. I had an exceptional experience with Coastal Moving Group from the point of scheduling my appointment, to the moving crew and office manager. They arrived on time, they accommodated me and got the job done. We had a good time laughing and working with the entire crew and I would definitely use them again and request the same team if possible.

They completely exceeded all expectations. The movers were on time, and were professional. They made sure everything was wrapped and protected and somehow managed to pack up a 2 bedroom apartment with heavy custom furniture in 4 hours. Next time I move I'm calling these guys!
