Provided by YP.comI'm shocked to see negative reviews. I'm a mom who is not very artistic- I have a very creative daughter who is a budding artist. The folks at Jerry's have been so helpful and supportive. They have offered me advice on things to buy, explained the difference in quality and price points. In addition, they have provided my daughter so much guidance and have answered her seemingly endless questions. We are so lucky to have this high end art store in our community!!!!

Provided by YP.comVery horrible. My wife just called and a stupid employee said .We don't have and don't bother to check. Very non professional attitude. Arts school referred us to that shop and looks they lack professional ethics. Will never go there and regret what we bought in past.

Provided by YP.comHorrible store and staff. I visited Jerry's this past Sunday with my brother to pick up some Color Aid Paper and I will never visit this store again!!! I rather take a visit into the city to Pearls or Blick! A store associate asked if we needed help and we asked for the color aid paper. She showed where it was and walked away without asking if we needed further help. There was a box that was already opened so my brother was looking at it. Out of no where, two store associates were hovering over us, staring us down. I asked my brother which one is the packet you need and he picked it. Then very rudely one of the store associates grabs the open box and says "Are you not going to close the box? The way you found it?" Mind you he raised his voice. I kindly said it was found that way. He grabbed the box and started slamming it on the counter and said "Sure it was!". Never again will I visit this store again! They are over priced and horrible staff members.

Provided by YP.comi used to go here alot, and for years it was great, helpful staff who would know you and were very helpful. i went there last week and basically found my experience horrible. i couldn't find what i was looking for and no one was around to help me, there were employees there but they failed to respond to my needs at the time because they were talking to one another, with language that i found unacceptable. i don't think i will return there unless i really need something in an emergency, i used to go there for the personal service but now they act just like the bigger blicks and michaels.

Provided by YP.comI generally buy all my art supplies in NYC...now that I found Jerry's in West Orange, I'll be shopping there. I couldn't believe how big the store was and filled with so many choices. Their prices were so much better then any NYC store and they have so many coupons online.

I am truly sorry that you had a bad shopping experience at our store. I'm also sorry that you did not ask to speak with a Manager or the Owner - at the time that this took place. Provided by YP.comafter kindly asking an employee about paint for my car then getting a tube and browsing a bit further the tube popped in my hand, i wasnt handling it roughly in any way, but some other nasty employee yells "your buying that tube and getting out now" then proceeds to follow me around. i have never been kicked out of anywhere before, and i think this was just a crabby employee on a power trip. never going there again
I am sorry for your displeasure with a staff member and I'm sorry that you did not ask to speak with an owner or store manager. You should not be made to feel uncomfortable in our store and since nothing like this has ever happened before - I assume that there was some misunderstanding.
