Years ago I lived in North Bergen and often visited a plant shop called Noah's Ark located on Bergenline Avenue. I have recently moved back into the area and was delighted to find that not only was the plant shop still in business (although moved to the Galaxy Mall in Guttenberg) but that the business is still being run by the same family and they had branched out into the floral business. I had a nice chat with the owner who remembered me from "the good old days" and found her to be just as pleasant and knowledgeable as before. She recently moved her shop to the old entrance of the Galaxy Theater and has turned the area into a bright, inviting shop filled with flowers and plants. My recent purchase was a gorgeous bouquet of mixed flowers which were reasonably priced. They seem quite happy on my dining room table and have stayed fresh (which is more than I can say for the flowers I buy in the supermarket)! I'm very happy to see that the small shop that brought back so many memories is still in the area and owned by the same family. I plan on visiting quite often!
