My fiance', her daughter, her son in law ALL take their cars to McGrath's for repairs. I am a pretty good "backyard" mechanic and have always made sure they were not ripped off. Mr McGrath (the owner) works there every day. He is an honest and pleasant man. He explains things very patiently to people who have little to no knowledge of cars. Of the many different times I accompanied my fiance' and her family when they took something there he was always fair and completely honest.
His mechanics do top notch work. Their prices are on par (and sometimes cheaper) than other shops in the area. I would trust McGraths to work on my vehicles except I work on my own and have a friend with a car lift....lol. The big thing about McGraths is they are honest.......something sometimes lacking in some shops. You will pay labor rates at all repair shops.....the main thing is to only pay for what is needing repaired (honesty thing again) and having said repairs warrantied.
Anytime someone mentions they are looking for a good place to get their car repaired I always say McGraths.....and I say it with confidence that they will be in good hands there.
