Located in West Hollywood, Calif., The Community Development Department is responsible for managing the City's urban environment. It focuses on the needs of residents, businesses, property owners and visitors. There are three divisions - Planning, Transportation and Building and Safety - within the Department. The department also serves as a leader in coordinating and focusing multi-departmental work. It is a part of the City of West Hollywood that runs other departments, including Information Technology, Economic Development, General Accounting, Public Safety and Community Services and Building and Safety, to name a few.
