I'd like to give my experience with A Smart Home. We brought them in on our new home project in the 11th hour and were hoping they could help us with the mess things were in. It was a large project home with audio, video, and we ended up with a whole house Automation package as well. We just hadn't been comfortable with the company our builder had doing his work and found A Smart Home in the yellow pages. Boy did they get us on track and fast. Very professional and detail oriented to the max!! We hadn't even thought of lighting control and were going to have all the "old fashioned" light switches all over our beautiful home. When we saw we could clean all those ugly switch banks up with one beautiful push button keypad we loved it. The lighting scene settings were carefully explained to us on how that makes the beauty of our rooms come alive and with just one button push. We installed 3 touch screens too. They can control all our lighting, security, whole house audio system, sprinklers, video security cameras and more. We can even use our IPhones to control the entire house system!



Alan at A Smart home was very attentive to our needs and wants and helped us through the entire project from start to finish. He did a beautiful lighting fixture plan for our entire home for the electrician to install and wholesaled the fixtures to us. Our home is the envy of our friends & neighbors and many spent way more money on a poor designed system. Our lighting is just beautiful. We wouldn't have even dreamed that things could work so easy and look so dramatic until we had visited with them. All their workers were very polite, helpful and cooperative through the entire project and we can't thank them enough. Alan made a very stressful project into something that we had fun with and when we ran into problems he carefully and patiently got us back out of them.



We couldn't be more happy with our new home and will be starting on one outside of Iowa in about 2 years. We will call Alan with A Smart Home as soon as we have the home plans picked this time and can't wait to see what he dreams up for us in or "warm winter climate" home.
