We bought a complete HVAC system from a local Allied Air distributor, who also installed it. 2 years & 2 weeks later, the compressor went out, which cost us $750.

The unit is 6 years old now, and an ICP Control board had a bad component on it which cost us $890. Being 6 years old, I can understand, however, the HVAC Tech said that Allied's competitors recognized this problem & designed their similar boards where this bad component is easily unplugged and replaced at a fraction of the cost we just paid.

We have also learned that if the blower motor on our unit goes out, it's cheaper to just "replace the entire A/C system" than to pay for that one part.

I will never buy from this company again!!!
