I manage a local restoration company here in Columbia and we won't use another plumbing or waterproofing company. Their expertise an personalized service exceeds my expectations every time!!!

Curtis is fantastic - very friendly, professional and knows his trade very well. He explained everything he was doing in detail. My gas leak was quickly located and taken care of right away and then they took the time to troubleshoot a little extra to make sure no other area in the gas line was leaking. I may be a 1st time customer of 1st Choice Plumbing & Gas LLC, but I am now a lifetime customer. If you need it done right the first time do not hesitate to call on Curtis and his team, you will not be disappointed.

I selected Curtis and 1st Choice Plumbing because of the great service they provided to us last winter when a pipe burst during the freeze (when I couldn’t get in touch with anyone else), and subsequently during an emergency when he replaced a leaking hot water heater.

Based on the work he had done for me earlier, there was no question who to call when I decided to have my home converted to natural gas. Curtis helped me determine what had to be done, what he could do and couldn’t (e.g. actual conversion of orifices and regulators within the heating units), and coordinated schedules (i.e. permits and inspections).

Curtis was here for nearly all of the work. He had two employees who worked with him (Chase and Tim). This was the hardest working, most detailed oriented crew I have seen. They worked extremely well together, were very careful about keeping our home clean, and kept us up-to-speed during the entire project.

They did high quality work, were efficient, and added benefit beyond what they were contracted to do. Since they were crawling in, over, and under nearly every inch of our house, they had the occasion to see things that I would never see and to provide me with reports of other work that had been done by other contractors, repairing those as necessary.

There is no question that I will use 1st Choice plumbing in the future. They are the best I’ve seen in my 40+ years as a homeowner.

I saw one of their trucks beside me at a (traffic) light maybe a year or so ago and wondered if they were any good--having been stung big time by other companies.

Well..yesterday I had my first experience and am so impressed ! Old attic pipes gave way. Cavalry Flood and Restoration, called FC in for the initial repair. Wow. Immediate response. Through examination and virtually instant repair. Curtis showed me the pipes and explained every aspect.

Given the current status of the property, I am about to trust them withe major replacement work.

Efficient. Organized. Super capable. Fair and justifiable costs. Well spoken. And kind.

These guys came out on a Sunday and fixed a busted water pipe in the bathroom wall. They stayed late into the night and even repaired the sheetrock that had to be removed for the pipe repair at no extra cost to me. I'd recommend First Choice Plumbing to anyone needing Emergency Service Fast.

I called 1st Choice Plumbing as soon as my toilet started having problems. They came out as soon as possible and they fixed the problem quickly. They were courteous and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

I had an additional hot water heater installed. 1st Choice was recommended by many people to me. They did not let me down; they came in and got the job done right and in quick fashion. Their prices were excellent and they were friendly. And a bonus - no plumber crack was exposed. I will use them again.

My main sewer line became plugged on Sunday after Thanksgiving. I called 1st Choice. They told me I would have to pay more on Sunday, but told me what to do so we could make it till Monday. They showed up Monday as scheduled and cleared my clog quickly. Price was very reasonable as well. Very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them and I will call them for my future plumbing needs.

In the past, like most folks in the Midlands, I have contacted the big named plumbing companies... expecting to get the big quality promised in their ads. Instead, about all I got was a big, big bill!

With my latest kitchen sink leak, I decided to call 1st Choice Plumbing. With all the rain of the summer and after making the sink repair, they offered to do a service inspection check, and thank goodness, they did. My house had hundreds of gallons of water under it from a failed french drain system. 1st Choice Plumbing took pictures and used them to explain to me in detail what needed to be done. They offered to do the work at a reasonable, if not exceptional, price. Within a week, the work was completed. After a couple of weeks and more torrential rains, they even called to check and make sure the new french drain system was working satisfactorily. If you choose to utilize the services of 1st Choice Plumbing, you will be making a great choice and a potentially wise investment!

You will never find a more honest - reputable company to do business with!!! Their work is impeccable and pricing is beyond reasonable.....you need to call this company with any and all of your plumbing needs!!!

This company is great! I came home to find water all over my bedroom and discovered that it was coming under the wall from the hall bath toilet. When I called they explained to me how to stop the water while they were to their way. They understood how important it was to me that the problem didn't get any worse. After that they made sure that the problem was fixed. They made sure things were done right and they gave me options about my repair instead of just going with the most expensive way to fix the problem and then handing me a huge bill. If you want an honest plumber I'd highly recommend 1st Choice.

These guys recently fixed my yard/patio drainage issues after the torrential downpours. In so doing they also fixed an ongoing roach problem by discovering a disconnected drain pipe under my house that has been unknowingly discharging waste from my garbage disposal under the house for I don't know how long. Went the extra mile and cleaned up work area. Thanks!
