Pocopson Home is a full-service retirement community in West Chester, Pa. A nonprofit organization, Pocopson has been operational for more than 60 years. Serving more than 5,000 senior citizens annually, the center is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, Connecticut Association of Adult Day Centers and State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. A certified Medicare hospice benefit organization, it offers a wide variety of residential living options, such as one- and two-bedroom cottages, and deluxe and studio apartments. Its amenities include dining halls, walking trails, gardens, a pond and pavilion, whirlpool and fitness rooms, computer access and training, woodworking shops, crafts and ceramic facilities, chapel and pastoral care services, lectures, concerts and family events, and special interest clubs.
