Tom repaired my daughter's brakes for a fraction of the cost of another shop. Super friendly and professional!

On Jan 12th 2018, I dropped my car off at T & J's for a water pump replacement & antifreeze flush. I have been going to him for many years & trusted him with my vehicle. I received a call from him several hours later stating that there was oil that leaked into the cargo space of my interior. He begin to use profanity & asked if I had dirty oil in my vehicle? I told him no & there wasn't a reason why I would store oil in my vehicle. I left my place of employment early to pick my car up. He offered to test drive the vehicle with me in the passenger seat & I immediately smelled the aroma of motor oil. When we arrived back at the shop, he lifted the cargo door & showed me the spill. All of my personal items (umbrella, shipping boxes, & shoes) & carpet area was soiled in dirty oil. He stated that he tried to clean it up as much as possible but it was a lot of oil. I asked where was my boyfriend's Red's baseball cap. He fetched it out of the trash then asked if I still wanted it but it was unsalvageable. He also stated that he would need to shampoo the area but at a later date. I took it back the following Friday. He shampooed the area but it's still reeks of oil & it's heavily stained. I believe that he used my vehicle to transport an auto part which contained used oil.

Tom seems like an honest guy, but I don't really feel too great about his work quality. He doesn't do the work on all the cars, but has other employee's doing the work. Didn't notice any pictures or certifications for these employees, so they most likely aren't certified mechanics. Noticed new scratches on my paint, as well as on my interior. Not happy at all about that on a rare weekend car. Had to come back to him after he didn't complete the original job correctly, and he seemed frustrated like I was being a pain. Gave me little attention and had some other mechanic help me out while he just nodded his head to my questions as he filled a tire with air. Not very convincing for important questions about what he did to my vehicle. Ultimately, his helper did some quick makeshift fix which didn't correctly fix my issue. I had to go to my dealer to have it all calibrated properly. This guy was cheap, and for good reason. I would never recommend, or take my vehicle to this establishment ever again. Highly unprofessional, disrespectful, and misleading.

Tom is always reasonable and does great work in a timely manner. He has been working on my cars for a long while. I wouln't go anywhere else!

Great service at a good price. Love these guys!
