Founded in 1969 and located in West Bloomfield, Mich., Willoway Day Camp offers a range of recreational programs for children between the ages of 5 and 14. Its facilities include a gymnasium, dining hall, photography laboratory, athletic fields, and tennis and basketball courts. The camp offers the Lake Program, which includes various activities, such as water skiing, tubing, torpedoing and sailing. Willoway Day Camp offers an adventure challenge course to build life skills and self-confidence. It organizes a variety of leisure activities, including campfire skits, dance and music shows, and arts and crafts. The camp conducts aerobics, gymnastics and cheerleading classes. Its adventure activities include hiking, river rafting and kayaking. Willoway Day Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association.
