Best in the business. Gotten a lot of work done by Ty and he goes above and beyond every time. The entire staff is awesome; friendly, pain free scheduling, great pricing and not to mention the exceptional artwork. If your looking to get anything done go to Big Easy; they do it all!

We have been loyal patrons of this shop for years. Not only are the artists professionals, they are AWARD WINNING PROFESSIONALS. (Look them up.) They’ve always been friendly and top notch customer service keeps not only my family coming back, but people we have recommended as well. We’ve suggested them to quite a few and they’ve never disappointed any of the the ones we referred. Our total travel time to get to the shop is 6 hours round trip, and well worth it. My husband’s last tattoo was entered into competition, excellent work. We won’t go anywhere else. These people stand proudly behind their craft and make sure each customers vision becomes a unique reality. They are exceptionally talented and well worth the time and money.

My boyfriend and I went up to Big Easy to see Wolfman (he's been a friend for a while now, but I hadn't been tattooed by him at that point) and so that my boyfriend could get pierced by Dustin. It was about a hour long commute for us, since we live in South City STL, but I was positive it would be worth the trip.
We both ended up getting tattoos from Wolfman while we were visiting the shop, and both tattoos turned out great! Wolfman has a nice, light touch and works quickly, both are qualities that one would want when getting your foot tattooed like I did. He's also a great guy to sit around and shoot the breeze with.
My boyfriend got his lobes pierced at a 10 gauge and immediately tapered to an 8 by Dustin. The piercings are healing really well and he's very happy with them.
I would defiantly recommend Big Easy to anyone who was looking for quality work in a bright, friendly environment!

Big Easy is THE place to go. I've been wanting a tattoo since I was 13 but waited until recently to actually get it done as until then I only had an idea but did not know how I want it. After finally knowing what exactly I want I researched tattoo places on the internet and after comparing I decided to go to Big Easy. Best decision I could have ever made! The studio is clean and professional. Everybody is super nice and helpful. You walk in and feel safe and comfortable, a fact that to me as a woman is of value. Most importantly, I think all of the artists are greatly talented, you cannot pick a bad one. Chase, who did mine, created an awesome piece of art which turned out to be way better than what I had imagined. I absolutely LOVE it.
So whether you are thinking about getting your first tattoo or your 100's: Go to Big Easy, you will not regret it!

The first thing about Big Easy is when you walk in the shop and you see how clean it is and how friendly the staff is. I meet Ty over a year ago working someplace else and after meeting him one time, he was and still is the nicest guy I've ever meet. I followed him to Big Easy and I have gotten my friends to go to his shop also. You will not be disappointed.

Big Easy Tattoos, where do I begin?...You walk in the door and they greet you right away. You explain whatever tattoo you want and they work around your budget and give you more than you ever imagined. They have award winning artists and it shows in their work and portfolios.
They are a great group of guys...correction a great family. On certain occasions you'll have the privilege on meeting a wife of one of the artists, a mother or father, and even their kids. And they are just as friendly.
I would recommend this shop to anyone I meet. I carry their cards around with me just to hand them out. And I appreciate all the tattoos and piercings I have gotten from there.

I got my first tatto today from Dave. Last week I took him some ideas and his vision of what I wanted came to life. Very professional, clean place, everyone there checks out each others work. They take pride in what they design and put on your skin.

Big easy has proven to be the best in the area. I won't recommend any place else. I've gotten three tattoos and while only ones been from big easy it was a massive back piece of demonic beings done by Ty. It has been entered in several tattoo comps and always gets compliments. My wife has received several from Travis and are all amazing. No where else I'd ever go or recommend. - K.S.-

the tattoo is not centered on my back, its sits to one side. and as a non smoker, i was uncomfortable with the amount of smoke brakes were taken

My tattoo is all a scar. The entire piece is raised even 3 years later (meaning he was wayyyy to heavy with his hands).

I had a terrible experience here that ended with me being chased and threatened. I was actually considering getting a tattoo here but when I asked about a story I saw in the Lincoln county journal, I was treated very unkindly to say the least.

I would recommend avoiding a place with such a

This place is the best around!!! I have had two portraits done by Ty L. And he hit them both out of the park!!! Matt, Emily, Travis, and Dustin are all super nice people, always easy to talk to and made me feel at home. Ty does INCREDIBLE work and is a super nice guy that loves what he does, fast, clean line work, great shading, a true master at what he does and he is FAST!!! Stands behind his work and always makes sure you are super happy with his work!!! Look no further, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO, BEST PORTRAIT WORK AROUND!!!

Clean shop. Clean dudes. Clean tools. Clean work. Straight prices. Comfortable atmosphere. The work is undeniably the tip top best. Matt the traditional artist there has done 7 of my 8 and has made each and every one impeccable. I get countless compliments and questions about where I got such solid work. The price we are so reasonable considering you're getting real art and not trash. I only recommend them for all your body mod needs.

I am not creative when it comes to tattoo ideas. I knew I wanted a Boondock Saints tattoo because I wrote my film thesis on the script and aced it so it meant a lot. I went in and Travis blew me away with his work. He asked me questions then did went in the back and came back with a beautiful piece. It took five hours but thats because this guy puts every ounce of effort he has into his work. It looks AMAZING. I am moving to California and I have tried to look for other artists but none seem to come close and yes I know there are fantastic artists in Cali but Travis is awesome and he doesn't charge nearly what the art is worth, he charges way less. When I come back to visit I know I will be getting more ink. Thanks Travis!

First off this shop is extremely clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I recently got a piercing from Dustin and he made me feel very comfortable during my experience. Award winning artists with years of work in each of them and a super friendly staff, what more could you ask for? I will definitely be going back and always tell my friends and family that they should check out this shop if they are planning a tattoo or piercing.

Most respectable shop in town. They always do great work, they're super clean and the employees are the best. I don't trust anybody else with my skin.

I have had 3 portraits and a sleeve done by Ty, my son has had several tattoos done by Matt and my wife has had a tattoo done by Travis and piercings done by Dustin and we have all experienced nothing but the best from each of them! Clean shop! We have traveled to tattoo shows with Ty and I have won several awards for the tattoos done by Ty. We are going to be traveling again in March to Iowa to another show and if you have never been to a show, maybe you should make a road trip!

They have great prices ... and deals that come up a lot. But they suggest cleaning a fresh piercing with Rubbing Alcohol...I just asked several people including Google. And everything says Rubbing Alcohol is bad for a piercing. Anything with alcohol is bad for a piercing. Not sure where they heard you could do this and be safe...but anywho. Love their employees. Clean shop. And looking forward to getting inked by them someday. :)

Absolutely outstanding! Matthew did a few treble clefs on my legs and did an amazing job.. He was completely professional, kept everything calm, and was just an all around great artist.. Owner came over and talked to my friend and I as well and was very cool and professional.. Can definitely expect more of my business here!

Came in for the first setting for a arm sleeve and the staff was great. Very friendly and made the long time I had to sit fly by! Ty work drew me to the shop and I came in to do a traditional piece and they told me Matt was my man. Matt did a awesome job and proved that everyone there is a great artist! He also gave me a great price. These guys could be charging a lot more for the work they do. If you want top artist to tattoo you and not have to pay top price, got to Big Easy Tattoos
