Dr. Jason Kaplan is an upbeat charismatic professional who is well - skilled at performing spinal manipulations. Dr. Stephanie Kaplan is a kind and knowledgeable professional who will take the time to address all of your questions and concerns - extremely competent. The office staff - if this review were for you - you would get 10 stars! Best office staff EVER!!!
So, why 2 stars? Honesty. Dr. Jason Kaplan, for all his pomp and circumstance, falls short in this area. I was told one thing on the phone and another in the office. Dr. Jason Kaplan kept trying to refer to it as a "misunderstanding".
No misunderstanding. A lie is a lie is a lie. As much trust I had in Dr. Jason Kaplan is now as much distrust I have in him. I feel very let down because I truly did respect him as a doctor until he flat out lied to me. There is no question in my mind that I was lied to. The context was always professional and I never expected anything special of this office. I was shocked when I was offered one price/arrangement on spinal decompression over the phone and then another in person. Also, why sign a financial agreement for 20 sessions? What if I feel better after 5? Dr. Jason Kaplan has engaged in some very unethical practices here in my opinion. Might be wise to get a second opinion if you are a patient here. Chiropractic costs can be very expensive, so make sure that you are really getting what you need for a fair price.
