The service at this store is the worst. I needed to order a ballroom shoe in a size they did not have and not only did they over charge for the shoe, they over charged for the shipping and then rudely told me "you know, you can't ever return it since I am ordering it for you". First off, I did not intend to return it but the attitude from the owner/manger person made me want not even want to order it. I did because I was already there. It took 3 1/2 weeks for it to come and and they didn't even call me. I had to continually call to check to see if my order had arrived. I wish I had gone home to purchase the shoes from one of the 11 different websites that sold the exact same product cheaper and promised free shipping in a week. I will never purchase from them again!

We have been searching for well fitting pointe shoes for a long time, this is the only store that was able to fit my daughter correctly, and they did so in a professional and friendly manner. Won't shop anywhere else, even though we have to drive an hour to get there!

I was so impressed with BackStage Dancewear. The prices were great. I couldn't believe that a pair of ballet shoes was only $17...only $1 less than Payless...and sooo much nicer! They had a bunch of cute girls leotards for under $20. And the gymnastics leotards are like the ones at the gym...but much cheaper! The ladies that waited on me were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend BackStage.
