Founded in 1979, Grandma's Gardens & Landscape is a full-service nursery. It offers nursery stock, plants, and garden art and accessories. Additionally, it provides fountains, custom d cor products, and pottery and gifts items. Its gift parlor offers fragrances and the Thymes line of candles, lotions and soaps. It also offers gourmet foods and candies, including jams, jellies, pancake mix and salsas. Grandma's Gardens & Landscape, located in Waynesville, Ohio, conducts various events for children. It organizes pony rides, games and prize contests. It also organizes a rewards program, Friends of the Family, which provides expert advice to regular visitors. The nursery provides special coupons and offers to its perennial club members.

Today was my first and last visit to Grandma's Garden. I needed someone to help me, and when I did find someone, he was less than helpful. I asked him for the price of a mum that was on the ground and instead of coming over to me he started walking away from me. 5 for $35 he said ( I'd have to have been deaf, dumb, and blind not to see the sign). Then he said $7.95. I knew that was incorrect as the mum I was indicating was very large. Never coming over to me, he rudely said "Where exactly are you pointing?"

There really is no place like Grandma's!

I first visited Grandma's Gardens with our gardening club for a tour and a meeting in "Grandpa's Barn". I was new to the area and was so happy to discover this beautiful garden center with the finest selection of plants I'd ever seen -- well maintained plants and helpful but no-pressure staff to help us out. The way they have everything laid out makes it fun to wander and browse the different departments. Since that meeting, I've been back to Grandma's many times in all seasons. We purchased shade trees for our new landscape and they're thriving. My family loves their fall activities. Even train rides! Their Christmas season brings back that old-fashioned feeling for picking out the tree and shopping for awesome ornaments and the cutest gifts! Don't miss this one.
