Mountain Projects is a community based non-profit organization, founded in 1965 as a Community Action Agency, that provides vital services to the elderly, disadvantaged and general public in Western North Carolina. It was begun as part of the War On Poverty with a $52,000 Office of Economic Opportunity grant and a pilot summer Head Start program. Since then the agency has grown to an annual budget of eleven million dollars, a staff of 130, and provides a broad diversity of services to the community in response to its changing needs.

Today I took a disabled friend to Mountain Projects to get some paperwork completed. We had not filled it out exactly right so Oscar took it on his self to be a total disrespectful, mean, nasty person. We filled it out and took it back and he was still mean. The lady is selling her house and she needed him to have the paperwork so they will know the people have until Dec. to move. I am not a person that needs assistance from Mountain Projects but thank God because if Oscar acts like that to us then the poor, elder, and handicap people don't have a chance. It is a shame and disgrace having someone act like that. Does he forget who pays him. I have talked to quite alot if people and he is mean to lots of others. If he has a problem with this let me know....I would love to discuss this with all of you!!
