No kidding. This charming shop in Waynesvile's Historic Frog Level is exceptional. In a marketplace filled with quasi "antiques" and "collectibles" -- a.k.a. recycled thrift shop and yard sale finds -- The Laughing Lamb is an authentic Antique Shop of the first order. Housed in an old brick-walled warehouse from Waynesville's original days, this shop has lots to offer -- happily displayed with wit and ingenuity and charm. The shop specializes in "smalls" -- including china, silver, prints and frames, desk and tabletop, cottage and garden whimsies, small furniture, primitives, industrial/architectural fragments and countless other oddities awaiting discovery. Prices are modest -- and there are soft peppermints for nibbling while you browse. This shop is a MUST -- and worth the drive from Asheville if you're not lucky enough to already be in Waynesville.
