I have a Border Collie named Hope who is our baby girl. We decided to give Willow Brook a try since it was such a battle to do it at home. She only has 3 paws, which makes it hard for her to balance herself in our shower, and she has a very thick undercoat and mats so easy behind her ears and on the back of her legs. I believe Todd is the gentlemen that grooms her. He does a fantastic job and loves Hope to pieces. He said she is such a sweetheart while he makes her so beautiful. My husband is particular and was very satisfied with what Todd did with Hope. He always makes sure that we are satisfied before he accepts any payment from us. I take her every 6- 8 weeks and tell him to give her the works. I will always recommend Willow Brook.

We took our beloved Shih-tzu/Bichon mix to be groomed because it was such a battle to do it at home. She is the sweetest dog ever, yet clipping her hair and toenails usually had me in tears over the ordeal. I don't like being the bad guy. So my husband and I thought we would let Willowbrook Pet Retreat and Spa tackle our 2 year old problem child. Todd did a fantastic job and she has never looked better. Todd even shaped her tail, smoothed her horribly matted legs (we did try!) and clipped her nails nicely. And she smelled great! (It is now weeks later and she still looks nice!) I thought their price was very reasonable and about $20 less than some other places that provide the same quality of grooming. When I called Todd to thank him and ask how she did- he said, "well she was a wiggle worm but we got the job done." LOL Very nice experience. Do not hesitate to take your beloved pet.

Wonderful business! I was fascinated by their work. The place looks and even smells great, even though it's filled with animals. The staff are so friendly and lovable, too. The grooming was AMAZING I was so impressed! Best job I've ever had. The prices are reasonable, too. It's obvious that they take VERY WELL care of the animals, and I went for a tour - they love the pets like they're their own, which is so admirable! Plus, they foster dogs which is so sweet. When I take my dog there, I know she is in great hands. THANK YOU WILLOWBROOK PET REATREAT AND SPA!! :)

Just went there recently and have been a client for a long while. Our dogs are often nervous about going but do very well there. I have dealt with both the groomers and they are professional, courteous and always considerate of the animal and the owner. Our dogs look wonderful when they are done! I would always recommend these groomers!!

We have been going to Willowbrook for years and couldnt be more pleased with all their services. It is a pleasant,clean atmosphere for all animals - whether they are being groomed or boarding. All of Willowbrooks employees are professional, polite, sincere, honest and try to do the best to please all their customers and their animals. First of all, I believe all animals are bathed unless the owner requests that they not be bathed. All the groomers will work with any type of animal and all owners. Owners are permitted to actually stay while an animal is being bathed and groomed. I have done that with my animals first time visits. I know when animals are groomed, all groomers wlll ask if their animal is to the owners liking. I know they will do adjustments per your request right than and there while you wait. They are very accomodating. There is also a sign right before you walk out the door that states, if you are not satisfied with your animals grooming please do not leave without telling us. It also states just as in this case they want to please you and your animal, at that point you should have stated any unsatisfaction, which apparently you did not. Instead you took it upon yourself to complain over the internet. If you did not like it you should have requested a change right then and there or called them up requesting an appointment for a change but you did not. They give everyone this opportunity and that sign has always been there. It is a shame to see a review that is not necessary posted on the internet. These are lovely people who love all animals. They are the most sincere and sweetest people I have ever had the opportunity to meet. I applaud Willowbrook for what they do for this community. People drive far just for their services and anybody who asks me for recommendations for grooming and boardng I always tell them Willowbrook. I know it may be a trip from Hagerstown or Chambersburg or further but it is worth it to know that your animals are in good hands. I know veterinarians who also recommend Willowbrook. If that isnt something I dont know what is. So before you spout off about a grooming you did not care for, you should have told them if you had any complaints. Did you ask the groomers if they had any trouble with your dog or tell them the last time your dog was actually groomed? You should have thought long and hard before you posted this to the internet. I feel that this is a very inappropriate review and should be deleted. I would think long and hard before you post a review that is full of untruths. Willowbrook I think you do a wonderful job!! Keep up the good work!! If there were only more people lke you in the world this would be a better place!! Keep up the good work;)

In response to the person below. I showed the man grooming our dog a picture of what she should look like, can't get more detailed than that. Also, we paid to have her clipped and bathed and she was never give a bath. When I got her home I could actually pull handfuls of hair off of her. She started to smell again within 3 days. As a return customer maybe you had a different person grooming your dogs and I am glad that you have had a positive experience. I am just telling anyone considering Willowbrook to proceed with caution because I wish someone would have warned me.

I have always had dogs and have used various groomers. I have been going to Willowbrook with my terriers who by the way are very difficult to groom since they opened. I am happier there than I have been anywhere in the last 35 years of grooming experiences. My dogs are stress free when they go there and totally loved. They look like they could walk into a showring when they leave.. Perhaps the other client was not specific in what she wanted. It is like when you get your own hair cut - you have to say just what you want. I can not recommend Willowbrook highly enough. Also the prices are very reasonable. I have also used the kennel for boarding on numerous occasions and have been well satisfied.

We just moved back to the area and need to get our dog groomed. The 2 places we wanted to use were booked so we tried Willowbrook. I will NEVER take my dog back there again. First, she is very easy to groom, they usually just use clippers on her and then trim her tail. Where they used the clippers is completely uneven. In some spots they trimmed her to the skin and in other spots it looks like she hasn't been trimmed at all. Before we took her to Willowbrook everyone would comment on how beautiful her fluffy tail was. I told them she only needed a trim and they cut the 4 so inches of hair off of her tail with clippers. Her tail is actually cut shorter then the rest of her coat. Our dog is a shelter dog and she actually looked better when we got her from the shelter.
