There's something to be said about dishonest contractors. Lets hope they "sow the wind and reap the whirlwind". We purchased 2 roofs that would carry a life time limited warranty. Sadly, after moisture problems two months after installation was noted, we hired a Roofing inspector and a certified atlas installer t otake a look at what S and J did. Both doubt there will be any warranty, especially since they were never installed correctly per the manufacturer instructions on the package. Old school roofers shouldn't be placing new products without reading the instructions. Somethings are just obvious that most roofers realize. When there was a ridge vent you should replace it, instead of cheaping it out. Again low bid...cutting costs...will cost you more in the long run in either damage or frustration. My recommendation... don't do it. Go elsewhere. Sutryk and Son did a great job on our other roof. We should have stuck with them. There's a reason why Sutryk has a waiting list, they are that good!!!.
