St. Joseph Church is a vibrant parish of Roman Catholics in Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Elm Grove and western Milwaukee. Our life is centered around the Mass and supported by a wide variety of ministries, devotions and activities serving families, single people, children, young adults and senior citizens. We are blessed with strong participation, excellent preaching and outstanding singing in our Masses. Our current pastor, Fr. Jim Kimla, is supported in liturgies by Deacon Jose Gonzales and Fr. Steve Malkiewicz, a Franciscan priest who teaches in the archdiocesan seminary program. Approximately 1, 300 households are registered with the parish, and more than 200 students attend our day school in grades K3 through 8. Hundreds more children, young people and adults learn more about their Catholic faith through our Catholic Formation program, which is a collaborative endeavor with St. Mary's Visitation parish in Elm Grove. St. Joseph collaborates with three area parishes on additional ministries. Besides St. Joseph, members of the Quad Parish are St. Mary's Visitation in Elm Grove and St. John Vianney and St. Dominic in Brookfield.

outstanding school

St. Joseph Catholic School at 122nd and Center streets in Wauwatosa, Wis., is an outstanding school. We have had our children enrolled since 4K. Our oldest is now in 8th grade and has received an incredible education -- in academics, in faith and in character. The school offers a great variety of extracurricular activities, including an amazing forensics program and super sports. The teachers are wonderful.

This is a very supportive community, and one that welcomes newcomers with open arms.

If you are looking for a faith-based school with outstanding academics, choose St. Joseph. Families from Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Milwaukee, Elm Grove, West Allis and even West Bend have made the choice.
