Waunakee Intermediate School is a part of the Waunakee Community School District, which operates several elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools. Waunakee Intermediate School serves students in grades five and six. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as communication arts, math, science and social studies. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music, band, computer science, and health and physical education. In addition, Waunakee Intermediate School conducts foreign language sessions in Spanish and French and provides the English as a Second Language program.
