I am so disappointed to say that this particular location and some of the employees that work here, posess some of the lowest integrity. In January 2015, my nephew was taken from my brother and his girlfriend on speculation of abuse of her other child she has with another man. This is another child that was the reason for all the kids taken...not even my nephew that was involved. I called and stepped up from the day he was taken, only to have been given the run around from d.c.f.s and arden shore. I spoke with the Dora Maya, Monica, Carlos and Margaret. Non of these employees were ever on the same page when it came to my nephew and the goals of placement. In January of this year my neice joined the foster care. My brother and his girlfriend conceived and the mother chose not to tell arden shore. In spite of the many rules that she had broken,they still chose to keep the children in foster care instead of with me and our family. I had done everything they asked me to do, just for them to irresponsibly decide to keep them in foster home in hopes to "reunite then with their mom." They set her up for failure and on top of that, she is in no condition to raise these 2 children in a healthy environment while raising her other 2 children. That's a total of 4 kids and she has no steady place or steady job and is back with her abusive ex-boyfriend. Did i mention that she gained back custody of her other 2 children? So let me get this straight. She's fit to mother those 2 but not my neice and nephew? Who decides this idiocy? Arden shore would rather keep these 2 babies in foster care or hand them over to that kind of life. All the while, here I am with my husband and 2 kids, whom we all got close to my neice and nephew. We have this huge 4 bedroom, 2 bath home that we obtained for these kids. Not to mention I have plenty of experience with mental illness which there is a large chance that one or both children will have. No, arden shore chose to be bias and keep them from us and with strangers. How devastating these children will be when they eventually find us and know where they came from. I'm not on any public aid and wouldn't require any for these babies. People are getting paid to foster MY neice and nephew. An guess who gets a kickback if they're adopted out? Yes, money drives alot of evil people to do sick things. I will NEVER stop sharing my story and bringing awareness to what goes on. The whole thing is truly insane and you dont think about the corruption until it happens to you. Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it??? Yes, everyday we can't believe how disgusting this is and how anyone would want to support these kinds of decisions.

My nephew was taken from his parents and given to arden shore at 6 months old. I stepped up the DAY he was taken to try an foster him. My calls were NEVER returned. It took 10months to do a dna because they wouldn't allow a 3rd party to test him. It's been a year now. I was told by Monica and carlos that I was being considered to take my nephew. I was told, I needed a permanent residence so I broke my lease,got a bigger home, all for carlos to call an say "we'll now we're going to consult with dcfs as to where we place the children." I had a background check, inspection and exercised EVERY visit that was offered to me. I read that the company stands for placing children with family whenever possible. They don't go by their own rules and they take alot of time on these timely issues. I have been VERY cooperative and patient but have not received results. I will continue to fight. I'm thinking of what is in THEIR best interest. This is something Arden shore hasn't done.
