Business History
Steve Jackel has been involved with wood since 1973. Steve gained much of his wood education while involved in the Dulcimer business, building his own house and wood sales. In 1991 he decided to start his own business, Jackel Enterprises. As a leader for his company Steve and his son Noah have grown JE from a small warehouse and one man operation to a 40,000sf facility with inventory, mill shop and 2 acre lumber yard.

We specialize in Softwoods; VG Clear lumber in Redwood, Doug Fir, Western Red Cedar and Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Quality hardwoods in Walnut, Sapele, African Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Ash, Cherry, Birch, Teak and more. We have a variety slab material in many species and FSC® Certified reclaimed lumber in stock. We supply Custom made real wood Box Beams, Solid Beams and Timbers, Corbels, Mantels, Custom moulding and trim packages, wall and ceiling treatments, exterior siding, solid and engineered flooring.
