The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association ( WPGA ) is the steward of local amateur golf. Comprised of local member courses, the WPGA is responsible for amateur competitions, education, and handicapping. The Golf Handicap and Information Network ( GHIN ) is the largest handicap computation service. The Handicap Index is revised throughout the golf season and is based on golfers' scores and the relative difficulty of the courses on which their rounds are played. Village Green Golf Course is a terrific 18-hole public golf course located in Hickory, PA. Owned and operated by Golf Club of Washington partner, Jim Cameron and his brother Steve Cameron, Village Green also offers a full-service bar and restaurant.
