Psychiatric Care Systems, PC was established in July 1973 under the direction of Oscar Urrea, M.D. We have been licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare as an outpatient behavioral health clinic since 2002. We have been accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations since 2003. We are a general psychiatric practice providing comprehensive psychiatric treatment, as well as sleep disorders medicine, to patients in the Western Pennsylvania area. We offer a team approach with medication management by our skilled psychiatrists and/or psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychotherapy with our Masters or Ph.D. level therapists. We offer a full range of behavioral health services, including adult and geriatric psychiatry with medication management. Various psychotherapy modalities as well as couples, marital and family counseling also are offered. In addition, we are now offering child psychiatry services under Amanda M.
