The Prepared foods section is excellent and always willing to help when I need particular items. The bakery has a great variety, too. Giant Eagle is pricier than most grocery stores, but you are paying for freshness and quality. And also, to not have to go to walmart.

Giant Eagle Washinton Pa. store has a varied and substantial inventory of variable items. The prices are on the whole a bit higher on most everything,

My biggest concern is Giant Eagle brand cut and wrapped chicken.The meat looks grayish in color and the skin is whitish instead of yellow. This is not a one time or once in awhile issue but every visit I make. Once I noticed a package of sausage that was gray and past sell by date. I continue to shop here but I buy beef, chicken, and pork elsewhere. Please do something!
