Provided by YP.comSo glad that we finally got moved from there. The apartment looked nice when we first saw it and signed the lease (October 2015), but then in November 2016 it turned on us for the worst - when we first started getting a lot of rain. It was at that time we found that our apartment flooded every time it rained. It would flood the apartment from our livingroom all the way down our hallway to the bathroom. It was a combination of the flooding and our landlord not answering the after-hour emergency number that ruined the carpeting, left water-marks on the walls, and the smell of mold in the house. And instead of fixing the problem right in the first place, they just came in with shop-vacs and dryers. The dryers were kept on the carpets for two days to make sure that they got thoroughly dry. But still yet, an average of this apartment flooding twice a month still didn't help the matter. And those last few months it was left up to my husband (who missed work 2 days straight) and for me to do the maintenance job of cleaning up the flooding. We were informed that the reason maintenance wouldn't come out and do the cleanup was due to the fact that everytime they came out they got bit by fleas. Well, if you look at the pictures of the location: dirt, gravel, weeds, trees, high humidity, and the hot temperatures we had this summer. Figure it out. They were working out there in that environment and at times in shorts. So by this excuse, they didn't have to clean up our flooded apartment. We had to. Also, note that we had been seen by our doctors and we didn't have flea bites and even our landlord had been in the apartment and he didn't complain about flea bites (but we all wore pants too). So ...if his maintenance crew chooses what jobs they will and wont do..it makes me wonder who the boss of this company is. If anybody rents from this company - and I am not saying to or not to- just make sure you check the apartment out on a dry day and on a rainy day- just to be sure that it isn't a flooding apartment. And also, the very last day of our moving, is the very day we found that this black-looking stuff leaking around our ceiling was black mold. And all this together had been making us sick. We are now doing better. ...pss...I still have all pictures to document this as proof.
