I've lived in DC for over 8 years, and have been to at least 400 food and drink establishments, and this was only one of the two places where my friends and I were treated rudely and disrespectfully by the waitress there. We were ignored by the waitress, and I ordered a ice cream and pie there and was never given utensils. When I asked about the utensils, the waitress gave me a really bad attitude, and begrudgingly got them. Was I supposed to eat the ice cream with my hands? What kind of staff does this owner/manager hire? I hope the Saloon reads this because customer service matters.
