I've been going to the Sterling Optical on M Street, NW for a couple of years. The reason I keep going back when I have a couple of other eyeglass chains closer to me? Because of Eric and Donna, the core team there. They made a great impression on me the first time I went there, and they always give me great service. I get both my glasses and my contacts there, and I just wouldn't go anywhere else. They are friendly, full of helpful info, give me great prices and I actually enjoy my time in their store. I highly recommend the M St. store because, aside from getting your glasses and/or contacts, you get two wonderfully attentive people who make sure you are fully satisified. 5 stars!

Had a great time at Sterling Optical, 1900 M Stree, NW, WashDC. Made appointment by phone. Lady was both courteous, helpful and quick. She even called me to remind me of the date and time. The day of the appoinment, the optician Dr. Sheila Wood was right on time, courteous, helpful, quick and fun too. She explained everything she was doing as the tests progressed. She helped me make a decision about getting bivocals or not. We weighed the pros and cons, but the decision was mine. I did not feel pushed. Donna Berman helped me select some snappy new frames. She knew all about materials, durability, prices, the best frame shapes based on one's facial shape. With so many to choose from I just knew it would take me an hour to decide what to get. We did it together in 15 minutes. Eric Corrales measured me and my face and was quite professional and helpful as well.

So far so good. I cannot wait to get my new glasses, and will review again once I do. I highly recommend Sterling on M.

I could,nt beleive my eyes when I entered the store...Large selection of designer frames and much more...There was also a quick turnaround time on my prescription...I would highly recommend this store for awesomes frames...

Unprofessional, negligent doctor that gave me the wrong perscription which put a large strain on my eyes and made it extremely difficult to work. When I tried to get a refund for the contacts and lenses I could not use because they were the wrong perscription, I was treated unfairly, rudely, and obnoxiously. This place is a scam.
