Provided by YP.comGo to Anacostia animal clinic. I just did after Banfield cancelled my appointment (I learned when I showed up, very unprofessional)
Its nearby, much much cheaper, and much much more friendly. No scheduling issues, and they are actually animal people, petting and caring for your animal like you do, instead of the assembly line style of banfield.

Provided by SuperpagesWhen my cat Smokey started losing fur on his nape, i took him into Animal clinic Of Anacostia to find out what was wrong. They conducted a full blood and dermatological test on him and discovered he had a mild case of mange. Fortunately we were able to sort it out. They did a great job with him and now he is back to his normal mischievous self.

Provided by SuperpagesDr. Ashley is an outstanding vet and has a profound appreciation and respect for the pets she treats. Also there is no up-sale, care options are presented and explained, and the Dr.'s recommendations are based on the most practical and non-invasive treatment for the pet, including natural remedies or even no treatment, when appropriate. Likewise, treatments and visit fee are very reasonable. In addition, everyone who works at the clinic is a genuine animal lover. Your pet will be treated with both respect and compassion. These are qualities that I have found to be missing in some of the other places I had taken my pet for care.

Provided by YP.comThe location is very convient to my home and I have two Yorkies that i take there to have all aspects of their care done and they are quick, friendly, informative, and caring for all animals and their owners. The receptionist is very friendly and direct and we have a good time talking while we wait. The docotrs there are very informative, but I would like a little more help with knowing about my dog. The only down side of visiting this clinic is that you aren't asked too many questions. But overall they have really good rates and a great location. Parking is just the only thing....

Provided by YP.comThe first time I went to the Anacostia Animal Clinic was on a Monday nearly 5 months ago. I had a young kitten that was near death. I had no transportation nor did I have a carrier for the pet. This was the first cat I had ever been caretaker to. Come to find out, the kitten had become toxic due to some cat shampoo that I bathed him with. I received prompt and adoring care for my animal. Everyone from the Receptionist, the vet tech and the doctor made me feel confident that everything was going to be alright. The charges were good in my opinion, the other vet's I called wanted much more. And the hospital was only 2 blocks from the Anacostia Metro station, I could not ask for a better location or care for my pet. I will be making a second visit very soon and for years to come.

Provided by SuperpagesI chose to take my babies to Dr. Ashley because she came highly recommended by several pet owners in the area and now i can say that i also highly recommend this office. The whole staff was wonderful.
