Referred to my car as "a piece of s**t" which also reflects on me - a VETERAN. He couldn't take 1 day in Basic let alone an entire Tour in a foreign country! "You're confusing me. I have to work on that other car. Go someplace else." To a regular customer? Now an EX-regular customer. Maybe I didn't spend enough money over time, huh? Doesn't understand a customer who wants GOOD parts installed on his older car. "Why on this car?" My car, NOT his, my money, NOT his. "25 years experience" means nothing. Makes mistakes then blames everything else but himself. Cheap parts & oil. Won't do "tough" jobs. He'll turn on a customer in a New York minute! Unfriendly, unhappy, angry, obnoxious. Take your car someplace else. There are better repair shops in this area.

My car needed repairs and Frank Gordon was able to schedule it in right away. They got right to the point and didn't try to "sell" me repairs that I didn't need or could afford at the time. I highly recommend anyone that is not knowledgable about cars or who doesn't want to get the run around that most big repair businesses give you to go to Affordable Auto in Washburn. Ron and Frank are truly good mechanics as well as business men.

I had my vehicle worked on by both Frank and Ron. They were great to me they took the extra time to explain to me any and all questions that I had about my Escape. I needed to have the shocks and brakes fixed. All I knew was that my Escape was making a weird noise that I couldn't get rid of it. They figured the problems out right away and fixed it the very next day. I feel so much better that my vehicle was fixed in such a timely matter. Furthermore, I never once felt cheated or lied to as the other commenter had stated.I would continue to go to this repair shop and since I've had my vehicle fixed there I've referred a multitude amount of people to go to them for all their own vehicles repair. I both respect Frank and Ron from Affordable Auto Repair and feel that they have treated me fairly.

i am writing a reply to prev. commentthis person was given a quote on exhaust and after it was on and about week latercomplained about it . i tried to work w/customer but would never be satisfied

This shop does not tell the whole truth. They deceive their customers. When confronted, the owner will lie to your face and change the story to accommodate his needs. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. I have heard bad stories and now I have experienced this shops inability to provide satisfactory customer service. Please save yourself the headache, and go to the next shop.
