Anchorage, Inc. has been building fine boats since 1930, when Bill Dyer founded the company. One of the first boats to be built as the 10' Dyer Dink, a wooden lapstrake dinghy. It was followed, in the early 1940's, by a plywood version of the 9' Dyer Dhow The first fiberglass version of the Dhow was built in 1949, making it the oldest, continuously-built fiberglass boat. The 9' Dhow was followed by the 7'11" Dyer Dhow Midget and the 12 1/2' Dyer Dhow. The company also builds the 16' Dyer Glamour Girl, the Dyer 29 and Dyer 40 classic motorboats. Take a look through our product line and you will see that the Dyer tradition of craftsmanship and quality continues today. We are -- Proudly Built, Proudly Owned.
