Betts Industries is making the best better worldwide . The company, began as a gray iron foundry and general job shop, has grown into a designer and producer of valves, manholes, pressure/vacuum relief valves and various other items for use with highway cargo tanks. Manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, sales and other business functions are housed in the company s corporate headquarters. Betts Lamp Plant houses the company s lighting division s manufacturing operations. Recent acquisitions have included three robotic welding centers, a six-axis CNC vertical milling machine, a hydraulic shear and a CNC vertical milling machine. Betts products meet many international requirements and comply with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations. Established in 1901 by Charles Fairchild and Louis Betts, Betts Industries has headquarters in Warren, Pa.
