Provided by YP.comI LOVE taking my dog here! I love the warm friendly environment. I tried other places before little bit closer to home - but I now have stopped looking for other places and just drive the distance. It's not too far - about 5 miles or so...but very very worth it!! I know that my baby will be in great hands! I am never worried or uneasy. I can not say that about any other groomers EVER!

Provided by YP.comMilo has been going to Shear Delight for grooming for about 10 years. The staff take very good care of him during his visits. Milo and I recommend the staff at Shear Delight for your pets.
Eric and I appreciate you taking the time to give us a review. We enjoy Milo's visits, every time he comes in for a grooming. We believe it says alot about us, when a client comes to us for 10 wonderful years. Thank you!

Provided by YP.comWe took our 5 month old puppy here and he was bitten on the head while he was there. We were told that it was probably our Yorkie that did it as she was there also. They charged $35 for a sanitary cut, nails and ears for the puppy and $38 for a full cut for the Yorkie, seemed high but was ok. When we went to pick them up our puppy had 2 open wounds on his head that were seeping blood for 2 days. Funny thing is our dogs get along great and have never had to be separated ever and we find it very peculiar that it happened that way. We were told after the fact that the groomer lets her dog roam around and has tried to bite other pets before, and this was told to me by someone that had worked there before. We would never recommend this salon to anyone. BTW there were only women there when we visited I see there are alot of comments about eric on here.
I am an employee at Shear Delight Pet Grooming. I'm writing this as a response to clear a few things up, because what this customer has said about her puppy being bitten in our salon has upset me a great deal. Firstly, there were no "gaping holes" on the puppy's head. I had informed the customer of two little, very symmetrical, already healed marks on her puppy's head. The scabbing was pretty much already gone by itself. I discovered them while brushing the puppys face out. Neither of them bled and were completely healed over. I had suggested it might have been her other dog --only because they were very symmetrical. The dogs were not even in the same cage together. We never let our client's dogs run around on the floor. The only animals let on the floor are the dogs that we have to walk out because they are too heavy to lift. This customer's puppy was no exception and never allowed on the floor, so it could never have had any contact with other dogs. As far as the customer not knowing whom Eric the shop owner is, this is because he was out of town at the time. None of the employees bring their own dogs in and let them free roam the shop. Only Eric's dogs are allowed to roam the shop and they are very well trained and socialized; and Eric was out of town so there would not have been one single dog on the floor of the shop. I want to make clear that all the employees at Shear Delight absolutely love what they do. We take great pride in our grooming, and our safety at the shop. This customer's review is very untrue and upsetting.

Provided by YP.comThis is the first time I ever felt comfortable leaving my Chow to be groomed. The owners and staff knew exactly how to relate to my dog, the shop is spic and span clean, and the grooming was more than perfect. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this grooming facility for your best furry friend.
Dear Client: We were more than happy to groom your Chow. I realize it is hard sometimes to find a grooming salon to groom Chows. But since we enjoy all breeds it was a pleasure to groom your pet. Thank you for the review. Shear Delight Pet Grooming Eric & Debbie

Provided by YP.comI have 3 dalmatians that visit Shear Delight. My oldest dal sheds to excess, so he goes for "the works". Eric has done a lot of research on grooming methods, and my dog's shedding problem has been greatly reduced with the products and techniques they use. But the main reason I continue to visit his shop is to have my one young dal's nails trimmed. It used to take a visit to the vet with myself and 2 vet techs wrestling with him to trim his nails. Now Eric gets him on the table, nails done in record time! It's a miracle!! I'd recommend the shop for any grooming need.
Dear Client: Thank you for taking the time and for all the compliments you gave us in this review. We try very hard to get as much of the dead coat out as possible. We always try to do the very best job we can. Shear Delight Pet Grooming Eric & Debbie

Provided by YP.comi have been taking my cat to the shop for a few years now, and i think the service and the way eric works with her, and believe me she is no angel when she comes to the shop, is great, he handles her well, the staff is frendly, and the service and price are good, i plan on continuing to brin my honey to the shop,
Dear Client: We love our special kitty cats just as much as our doggy customers. It sometimes, may be a challenge because kitty's are very opinionated. But they also enjoy looking nice, feeling great and smelling good. We always look forward and are happy to see our kitty's coming in for a grooming too!!! Shear Delight Pet Grooming

Provided by YP.comI consider Eric and crew to be true miracle workers as they can transform my vagabound scruffy Aussies into impeccably coiffured canines without breaking my bank account! Truly devoted dog people always concerned about what you want for your dog.
Dear Client: Thank you for taking the time to rate us in the yellow pages. We are glad that you are satisfied and that we, as you say are miracle workers and can groom your pets and make them look and feel great! Shear Delight Pet Grooming Eric & Debbie

Provided by YP.comHighly recommend this shop. Eric and all the staff are very courteous. They take great care of their 4 legged clients (and pleasant to their owners too). I've been using their services for years and drive 20 miles each way to use them. My dogs love all of the staff. Prices are very reasonable!!!!!!! Make sure you ask Merlin to bring you change. He is too funny! (Merlin is Eric's plothound - although I really think he is a lab mix. Who ever heard of a plothound?).
Dear Client: Thank you for the review and traveling that distance to have us groom your pet. That says quite alot and the pleasure is all ours. We'll also let "Merlin" know he's doing a great job as being our personal cashier. Although he may get a big head. Shear Delight Pet Grooming Eric & Debbie
