I will tell you all very simply and plainly: Doug Wohl and his staff at Wohl Optics will take care of you with exceptional knowledge and customer service. I will definitely return for my eye care needs.

This isn't a paid advertisement -- look, I had been given the run around by other Opticians in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, for a few weeks debating on how I can get myself a decent pair of stylish frames within my coverages and my budget. Finally, I had had enough of that and decided to drop into Doug's Warminster shop to see if they accepted my coverages.

Doug took care of me immediately and my new frames would be in hand within the next few days. I think, if my schedule would have been more allowing, I might have been able to get the frames and lenses I wanted next day - don't quote me on that, but I think it was possible. I wanted high definition progressive lenses that were ultra lightweight. He did talk with me about not using "Dollar Store" readers because vision in both eyes is different. I had been straining my eyes with the wrong reader prescription and not seeing clearly. I picked out an inexpensive frame and he cut the lenses for me right on the spot in his lab.

I left not feeling cheated, super happy with my frame selection and definitely convinced that Doug Wohl and his staff prioritized my need for eyewear. I will definitely return for progressive sunglasses soon.

WOHL OPTICS in Warminster, PA is an optical secret. Doug Wohl is very knowledgeable when it comes to all things eye-related. He has an ophthalmologist that I see every year. She's as thorough with the exam as he is getting me into the proper progressive lenses and actually advising me on frames that I brought to the shop for him to fill for me. I have a lot of cornea problems so I really need someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to my vision and eyeglasses. Doug's the guy. I wouldn't go anyplace else since I discovered him about 10 years ago. Honesty, integrity, fair pricing, and expertise. That makes for a five star review.

Great selection of frames, excellent staff, always helpful with paperwork & insurance, and good with my kids. Very happy! I'm at that age where I need reading glasses. There were so many styles to choose from, I must have spent over 20 minutes checking out the options. Again, lots of patience from the Doug Wohl. Thanks for helping me! So much different from going to being a number in the chain optician and optometrist practices in the Mall areas. I prefer working with the owner of the practice and the person who truly cares about keeping me as a patient. The optometrist was great, also very patient and thorough. I learned a lot about the various types of progressive lenses as well. Other shops would only talk about Varilux with them being the most expensive. Saved a lot of money and got a lot of personal attention at Wohl Optics. Won't go anyplace else.

Always accommodating and the best prices around for contacts and eyeglasses. Doug does his own cutting of the lenses in his lap so turnaround is very quick. I often stop in and have my eyeglasses adjusted. Very friendly and accommodating. Always willing to help. Thanks of his customers as friends and family. Highly recommend. Doug Wohl is a local small business optician in Warminster, PA. He is very personable and sees his customers as friends, going out of his way to special order a frame I had in mind for myself. He adjusted other frames I had purchased from one of the mall opticians. Didn't matter to him that I did not buy them from him. He just makes sure my eyes and eyeglasses are optimal. I will never go anyplace else. Worth the trip to Bucks County if you are not local. If you are local, if his hours are not within your schedule, he'll make an appointment that suits your schedule. He did that for me. 5 STARS all the way. This is the way businesses used to be run.

I have been a patient of Doug Wohl for about 5 years now. He cuts his own lenses and has been a very big help advising me what eyeglasses to wear in my work as a mechanic and for non work use. I used to wear lenses that darkened as I went outside but then it took so long for them to change back to clear as I came inside. Very frustrating. Doug makes you feel like you have know him a long time and he's always so pleasant. He is not only very knowledgeable, but also gives personalized service, something I have only found n a privately owned business.
