In the spring of 1948, Paul and Frances Lindsey first opened their doors as a take-out fried clam restaurant.  People loved the delicious fried clams so much, that in 1968, the Lindsey’s expanded the clam shack into a larger, full service restaurant.  Time went by and the second generation of Lindsey’s took over the family business. Today, owner Cheryl Lindsey continues the family tradition along with long time Lindsey’s employee and general manager, Mary Labonte. Over the course of 60 years, Lindsey’s Family Restaurant has become one of the upper Cape’s most beloved restaurants and recognizable landmarks. Generations of Cape lovers have flocked to Lindsey’s year round for their deliciously consistent food, quality service and impeccably clean restaurant.

Our family goes to Lindsey's for many holidays and milestones. Their food is all homemade and is outstanding. The portions are big and everything from the appetizers to the desserts is delicious. It's a nice family atmosphere. The waitstaff is very efficient and very professional. You consistently get quality food and service every time you visit. Usually when we go to Lindsey's it is very busy and the staff is always courteous and really on-the-ball! Every time we drive by, the parking lot is full. Lindsey's has the best food in the area.
