I have two Trane AC units purchased and installed by Ice Age in 2011. I have them serviced annually. Ice Age is a true professional company. Their techs are knowledgeable, thorough in inspections, checks operation and makes adjustments to keep the units operating in good form. At the end of each service call, tech goes over his work and finding with me and makes suggestions on future needs and inspections. They have serviced and installed my units and I trust their work.

All I can say is what a fantastic company Ice Age is. After waking up I realized my home seems warmer than normal. After looking at the thermostat I went outside and noticed my outside unit was not on. Knowing that we are going to have 3 straight days of 90 degree weather I started to panic because we have a child with an asthma condition. I called multiple air conditioning companies and keep being told it would be 2 to 3 days for an appointment. That was not an option for me so I started calling family members for a referral. One referral happened to be Ice Age and after calling them I was able to explain my problem and get an appointment the same day. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and explained to me that the technician will be there between 3 to 5 that day. 5pm sounded late to me so I had asked her what time they work till. She explained to me the technicians work as late as they have to in order to keep up with the work load for the extremely hot days. Their technician Kevin showed up at 4:30 and had us up and running by 5:30 replacing some type of capacitor and performing a maintenance on our unit. Knowing how important air conditioning is to our family and being able to count on Ice Age for same day service I know I don’t have to panic if we do have any air conditioning issues in 90 degree weather. Ice Age’s phone number is now part of our emergency call list and I would highly recommend them to other family and friends looking for a dependable air conditioning company!

Job - I contacted Ice Age for routine servicing for my furnace. Coincidentally, the morning of the day of the appointment the pilot light on my hot water heater went out and refused to stay lit when I tried to relight it.



Mark from Ice Age called to confirm the appointment. I was running late and asked for 15 minutes grace. He said no problem. He arrive right on time. I told him about the hot water heater. He said that he would take a look at it. He cleaned off the furnace and adjusted the pressure. After looking at the furnace, he showed me that the thermocouple needed to be replaced. Before he replaced he took a look at the hot water heater and told me that the thermocouple for also need to be replaced. He replaced both. The service was great. Mark was pleasant and professional.



I was very pleased with the service. I will recommend Ice Age to my friends. It's very rare to get this kind of professional service at a just price.

It's a great company, very profesional staff. We called them in the middle of the night and technician showed up in 2 hours, pricing was reasonable , technician explained the problem and fixed it. We will be using them for heating and air conditioning !!

The techs are very professional, very personable, very thorough, great walking me through what he did, why he did it and the purpose. The tech also had a great disposition and even though it was a late appointment; he didn't show any tiredness or impatience. Scheduling an appointment was very easy they accommodate your schedule. The owner, John, presents great customer service and ensures that clients are satisfied. Great company, great service, and reasonable cost. Choose this company for your HVAC general maintenance, repairs, and installation. I promise you that you will be satisfied.

Fast Service, reasonable price, i would recommend anyone!! They came out and fixed my boiler Saturday midnight, the technician was professional, explained the problem, he has the parts on truck and my heat was back on in about 2 hours !!

I called about my AC unit. There were able to set up an appointment for me for any day I wanted. They called me the day of to let me know when the technician would be here, then they called again to let me know he'd be here early. Marcin was the technician. He came in, took less than 10 minutes to figure out the issue (nothing big at all which was great). He fixed it, gave me good advice on keeping my systems clean and working, and went on his way. The charge was reasonable (better than other quotes I got for a service call by about 25%).

John from Ice Age was dishonest. We needed to have the drains for our AC unit cleaned. My wife called Ice Age and they quoted her about $160. That sounded fair so we scheduled an appointment. The tech was early and we were notified by them that he would be early. At this point I was thinking, reasonable price, prompt response, and good communication. The tech arrived, I showed him to the unit and assisted him with tools & lighting. The problem was fixed within 1/2hr. Now the bill gets written up... $233.26 ! I asked, "What happened to $160?" The tech had no idea what I was talking about. We got his boss John on the phone, He said, "Well we needed a coupler". That's about a $2 part from Home Depot. My friend has an AC repair company, but he was away this weekend and couldn't help me on this particular day, so I knew what exactly had to be done and I also knew that I would pay more for it. I just didn't appreciate how John low balled us on the phone to get the job and then hit us with a higher bill. BOTTOM LINE... FIND SOMEONE ELSE. I know that it's only $73 but when quoted $160 that's a pretty significant % more than on the quote. Imagine if I was quoted $1,600 for job from these guys, would it become $2,300 ??? I feel that John from Ice Age was dishonest and I will never do business with them again.

TOTALLY UNRELIABLE - (would give no stars but not an option) ...Scheduled an appointment for a Friday at 10am - had to call them an hour later to find out if someone was still coming - Only to first be told they didnt have me in their computer...then found me, and had to call me back - 15 minutes later, call me back to say technician has cancelled all estimate appointments due to emergency situations (granted, it was very hot and humid that day so likely had a lot of service calls)...,but no one was going to bother to call me to re-schedule???!! Made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt, and re-scheduled for the following Friday - After 40 minutes of waiting, the c/s person had to once again call me back after contacting technician - Today's excuse is that, due to rain, he wouldnt be able to come for another 2 hours...so almost 3 hours later than my already re-scheduled appt - I said No thanks, dont bother coming at all.....If this is any indication of how "reliable" they would be on any installation or repair call, I will pass - WASTE OF TIME

JUST DON'T DO IT! GO ELSEWHERE! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

THE WORST! THIEVES! HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING! RUDE OWNER! My boiler was broken and heat would not shut off! It was 82 degrees.

They never fixed the problem yet I have paid over $700. Then they have the wanted to charge me another $750 to fix the problem. Every time they came they misdiagnosed the problem, they fixed something that wasn't broken and they overcharged me. When I called the owner because I felt that I should not have to pay them again to fix something they should have figured out four months ago (btw they came out 4 times and never could figure out the problem and finally said they needed to bring in a electrician and plumber) especially since I had already paid them so much already. She did not care, exact words were "I don't have time to deal with one unhappy customer." She even said that's how they do things they start from the small things first and then work to the big thing. Instead of doing a full diagnosis the first time around. They are scammers and have no clue what they are doing. My plumber showed me how to switch off the boiler so the house could cool off, in the four months they came never once did they tell me about it! DON'T CALL THEM! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

Trustworthy, friendly and fast AC service! Ice age repaired my AC unit and now it runs better then ever! I really recommend Ice Age to you all who are looking for quick and affordable AC service!
