Recently bought a Regency gas insert. Mark came out and did a great job installing it even fixed my loose gutter while on the roof. These guys know what they are doing and will definitely use them in the future, highly recommended. Thanks Federal and Mark

If you are going to post a review you should tell the whole story. You purchased this stove through the dealer without ever talking the time to do your homework or ask specific questions especially since you installed the stove yourself. It seems that your motivator was the lowest price. Long story short Regency being the quality company that they are offered you a refund after sending a Factory rep to your home and finding nothing wrong with the product only that you did not want to take the time to learn how to use the stove properly.

I have had the CI2600 for 4 months and this fireplace does not work at all like they say. I have the factory come out and say it was working perfectly. They said the wood was the problem I paid for season oak made no change in burn time. What I did find out is that regency is has false advertising. They said the burn time is that the temperature in the fire box after 14 hours has a temp of 70. Not that it will heat your house for 14 hours or 10. They told me that it will only heat your house for 5 to 8 hours with perfect wood. Sadly there is nothing anyone can do about this but if you would like to talk with someone here is a number you can call. They will be very unhappy you have this number. Boulier's Fireplace and BBQ on Woodward is impeccable! An associate from our local Chamber of Commerce submitted a negative review after an exceptionally distasteful experience with Federal. Sondra and Pete's method of righting their wrong was to make slanderous statements about ?someone's?sobriety. This would be very funny if not so pathetic. They certainly didn't make a liar out of the reviewer. Folks, let the negative reviews speak for themselves.

A couple weeks ago I visited the store and after looking over a few gas fireplaces, "Pete" said he would stop out to my house to look over my current setup and answer some questions.



Well, Pete called the day he was supposed to visit and advised he had to cancel the appointment due to a conflict but would call back to reschedule. Well, a week went by with no call back. I called Pete a few days after this. He had no answer as to why he didn't call back but advised he didn't know when he could make it out to my residence.



Nice service Pete. Bye bye Pete.

They were asked to look at a g...

They were asked to look at a gas fireplace that was supposedly leaking carbon monoxide. The stated it just hadn't been run long enough. The fireplace continued to smell like gas so Consumers Energy was called to look into it. They found a leak with the pilot valve and so we asked Peter Stuart if he would come back out to fix the problem. He refused saying he didn't want our business instead of just taking care of the problem.

I was contracted by the owners agent to fix a co leak found by the buyers inspector. No co was found and seller confirmed that inspector was mistaken.To fix a gas leak only a gas line pressure test will verify a leak.Owners were charged only for CO testing.
