My moms Toyota Avalon was taken in to Shepard to have brakes fixed. Apparently, he specializes in Toyotas. After having the vehicle for almost a week and paying over $500, (minus the big $20 discount!) she picked up her Avalon didn't notice any improvement when braking. When I drove her car a week later I could hear the metal scraping when I used the brakes and was concerned so, I had a real mechanic look at the car and her repair bill. He heard the brakes scraping right away! When we reviewed the repair statement we were shocked to learn that only the rear brakes were fixed. The two front brakes were shot! My mom and 2 yr old baby niece drive in that car and it was unfit to be driving it! Helen Keller could've heard the bad brakes but, so this shop returned my moms vehicle knowing full well the front brakes were not fixed and furthermore weren't safe. Lousy mechanic and customer service skills accompany the unethical bussiness practice at Shepard.
