The Tea Room is so unique! I love the atmosphere they provide for such a broad gamet of ages. From elderly ladies coming to catch up with thier friend(s) to little girls coming to have tea with thier Mothers it certainly is enjoyable. And I love drinking out of real china! Its so much fun!! I'll certainly be coming back!

The tea room is a wonderful experience! I have been there many times over the years and have loved it every time. The pleasant and comfortable atmosphere makes you immediately feel at home. The food is always wonderfully delicious... I would recommend the chicken salad on a croissant with a bowl of chicken rice soup...both the best I have ever tasted. The dessert choices are as numerous as they are delicious...and I'm quite sure you'll find room for one once you see the selection. You will relax and enjoy the lovely setting and enjoy browsing the gift shop...I know because I do every time I go there and I am looking forward to it again at the beginning of April when I drive from PA to visit my daughters in Raleigh. I know it will be worth the trip!
