My wife and I are here on vacation and looking to move to Maui in the near future. Jim Niess and his son were very helpful in explaining the process that we will go through when we are able to build our home. They even went through a design exercise with us for free when we showed them the lit we are looking at. Very knowledgeable and very friendly.

While we were looking into moving to Maui we researched Architects and after meeting with several firms we selected Peter Niess and Jim Niess at Maui Architectural Group. I was a developer in Houston for the past 20 years and I had an idea of what I wanted in a home. Peter was very easy to work with and did an excellent job from conceptual planning to the party we hosted in our finished home. We have received many compliments from our friends that visit. Everyone loves the large outdoor lanai and the way the house really opens up and allows air to move freely through it. I also purchased a commercial property with some partners and we are working through the permit process. Since Maui Architectural Group was so easy to work with on our home we decided to work with them on this business venture. It is obvious that Jim and Peter have a great working relationship with the people reviewing the plans at the county. We are excited to begin construction soon and look forward to opening our office before the end of this year.
