Outstanding experience! I was searching for a salon that offered a safe Keratin treatment. After reading reviews, Purity Hair Design sounded great. I made an appointment for the Keratin treatment and was so comfortable and confident with the stylist that I asked her to cut my hair too. LOVED IT!! I then went back for my root touch up. She suggested a slight change to my color. It wasn't a big change, but it was a beautiful one that looked so much better with my complexion! Thrilled to have found such a wonderfully talented salon!!! That isn't all you get...they are super friendly and personable! I highly, highly recommend!

I love Purity Hair Design! It was very difficult for me to find a place in the capital region that felt like home. Since the first time stepping foot into Purity, I have never left unsatisfied or without completely beaming for feeling like a new woman. I get my hair cut and colored by Amanda, who is truly an artist, and I get compliments everywhere I go. Natasha does my ANC nails and other services I have received from her include eyelash extensions, and pedicures. The Aveda product is as natural as it gets and I love everything from the lotions to the hair care to the make up. I truly recommend this place to all of my friends, family, and anyone I come into contact with because I believe they are the best. My husband even goes there!

I have had a number of hair stylists over the years, but there are only I few that I have considered truly outstanding. Erica is one such stylist. I followed Erica from her previous salon to Purity Hair Design in Voorheesville. Purity is a lovely salon…very clean and well maintained. Aveda products are used. The staff is always pleasant, very professional and accommodating. Erica colors, cuts and highlights my hair. She listens and takes the time to discuss what I want done. She has a great eye for color and cuts my hair exactly the way I ask her to. I am always happy with my haircut/color when I leave. I would highly recommend Purity Hair Design and Erica to anyone looking for a great salon and an awesome stylist!

As a professional male who takes satisfaction in having a clean haircut, I have found excellent service in Purity Hair Salon. Specifically I have been using Erika and could not be happier. Erika is consistent and leaves me nice and clean afterwards. A full wash after a haircut allows me to go back to work without having the irritating left over hair from the barbershops. I have had bad experiences with barbers and hair salons and have finally found my place. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I certainly don't miss the old barber shop atmosphere. They also are very knowledgeable on their Aveda line of hand creams and lotions which make for great Christmas presents. By far the best!

Erika has been my beautician for many years. I followed her to Purity and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the salon. When you first walk in, you can't help but notice the relaxing, spa - like scent. The color palette the owner chose is very welcoming and again, relaxing. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment, they seem to be on time with their appointments with all chairs filled at most times. When I sit in the chair I feel like it's all about me (never ignored). The background music is perfect, all ages can enjoy it. I always leave looking like a million dollars, and 2 times I have had to run to the local grocery store and have been ID'd because the clerk couldn't believe I was in my 40's! Purity Hair Design is a very professional salon with so many services being offered. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I came to Purity following Erika from her previous salon. She has been doing my hair for several years now, and I have never looked better! Erika is so great at what she does, she is truly an artist. I feel like she can take my hair, and match it to my face and personality effortlessly and flawlessly, so that you get that “this is so me!” feeling when you look in the mirror. I get so many compliments on my style that I always encourage people to go see her – she knows how to make you look and feel gorgeous!

I have been going to purity since it came to voorheesville. I absolutely love it. I usually see Amanda and she always does an amazing job! I have gotten many different services and they are all done very well. Go now they are great!

Erika has been cutting and coloring my hair for many years! i had my first appointment with her and absolutely loved it!

I went to see Erika at this salon and I have to say I will be back! She listened to everything I wanted done and gave me a few suggestions and I love my new hair style!!!

I was referred to Purity from a neighbor of mine. An Thank God I've been to a few salons in this area an was NEVER happy with my hair!! Amanda the owner is the best stylist ever! She takes the time to listen to what you want and my hair came out exactly like what I wanted. The salon is so pretty an I like the fact it isn't to big and you don't feel rushed. I would recommend Purity if you want to find a stylist to go to all the time who will do a great job on your hair! Plus I love Aveda products!!

I went here twice the first time was awesome but the second time was a nightmare!! I showed a picture with a lady having full hair colored with two colors and she did foils!!! My natural color hair stuck out like a sore thumb! To top it off she worked on multiple people while working on me then turned me off to another stylist who blew out my hair with barely any products and I left looking like I was electrocuted!! It was ridiculous!!!

As a long time client of Purity Hair Design I would never go anywhere else! Professional, Friendly, with excellent personal attention. Amanda always takes the time to talk with you before your service. She suggests new ideas and actually listens to how I would like my hair styled. Purity is a comfortable salon and I enjoy my time while there!

I see Mary at Purity Hair Design. She always listens to my ideas and brings them to life! She is very friendly and helpful when I have questions about styling my hair. She uses a variety of products on my hair everytime I go there! I have had Mary cut, color, wax my eyebrows and apply makeup for me with skill!



The salon itself is beautiful! The owner, Amanda, has done an exceptional job at decorating it and it's very clean. I would highly recommend this salon to anybody!

I love Purity Hair Salon everyone there is so friendly and helpful. I always feel special and pampered when I go there. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Mary does my hair, she is amazing, she always has new ideas and products for my hair. She always has time to fit me in even if it is a last minute color. She is always there for my beauty needs!

My daughter goes to Amanda to get her hair cut. She always raved about her, but i had a girl i was going to for years. Well, the other day i decided to stop by an check the place out..an all i can say is it is georgous in there! It is everything the broucher said it was. I got a great hair cut an made an apt to go back for a color! I would highly reccomend it!!!
