I finally decided to take the plunge and get my hair cut short (into a bob style). I lost my Mother to Cancer in 2007 & it made life unbearable for me since my Mother always took care of my hair when no one else could! My Mother was so awesome with hair. I found Stella, I showed her a photo & when I had my eyes closed it felt like my Mother was standing there doing my hair.



Stella worked miracles with me....this woman is truly amazing, sweet as can be. She treats you like she's known you for years. GOD bless you Stella, I love my new hair doo & color & I feel so wonderful :)

I lucked out by finding this salon and was scheduled with Chrisy after explaining to the receptionist that I really needed to be paired up with someone who could break everything down to me "elementary" style since I have no since of style when it comes to hair. Chrisy did an amazing cut! So easy and full! Today, Chrisy did a corrective color on my hair and it turned out beautiful! She is totally the awesome chemist and brilliant at it if I do say so myself!

STELLA is amazing! I, like most women do off and on, had been in a real funk and needed to feel good, no GREAT, about ME. I had gotten my hair done a few days ago in the hopes of feeling younger and more alive at a different salon and was so very disappointed and depressed by the results so I went to see Stella and she, as always, worked her magic. It's amazing how a haircut and color can change your perspective and make you come alive again. I'm a teacher, and teachers AND students all over the building have come to my room to check out my new do because the word spread quickly (we've only been in school for 20 minutes this morning). I have been told how much younger and beautiful I look. Some said that they don't recognize me because I look like a teenager!! I've gotten so many wonderful compliments, but most importantly, I LOVE it and STELLA accomplished for me exactly what I needed and wanted. Go see STELLA, and you will not be disappointed!

I have lived close to The Image for 23 years and finally walked into this upscale and busy salon for the first time this week. I was worked in and was able to get an appointment with Stella, a Ukraine Redhead who brought her expertise to the table. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and gave me the current look and color I was looking for. This salon has been in business for many years and most of the stylists have been there 10 + years. Oh, and did I get a GREAT massage when I got my hair washed. WOW! Great combo. I recommend the experience.

Jim is the BEST!!! I went to the Image because one of my friends told me I needed to go see Jim. Boy was she right! I went and my hair was heavy, unhealthy and definitely not making me feel my best. Jim helped me change that. He was very informative and made my hair look and feel its best! The color he did was perfect and the cut was better than what I expected! Thanks Jim for making me feel like a million bucks!!!

Stella is great, she listens to you, she works with you, she has your best interest in mind, not hers. I have recommended her to several of my friends who were looking for someone new and they have all been very happy.

If a "Day of Beauty" is your goal, Schatzi will make it happen. She is extremely easy to work with and always listens to my thoughts and wishes before every appointment. Schatzi has never put color or scissors to my "locks" until I'm completely comfortable with the styling process. No big ego here....just a lot of talent!

Back in 2007 Jim saw me and told a friend that he could help me with my hair. I went to Jim and was already doing the Biotin, but the best advise he gave me was to not only wash my hair but the also shower in a cool shower instead of a hot one. I now have a full head of hair and it grows so fast that I can't believe it's down the middle of my back. The people at the Image are absolutely wonderful! I would recommend Jim any day, night, or whenever to do someone's hair. I even had Jim do my hair for my wedding, which turned out beautifully. I received several compliments on my hair, not only at the wedding, but every day now. I can't say enough about Jim or the crew at the Image. Book with Stella for a great men's haircut. Ever since leaving the Marine Corps I have struggled with a new hairstyle after having it so short for so long. Stella took the time to show me a new style for my hair and showed me some products to help out when I had used none before. Stella listens to the changes that I want to my haircut and doesn't make me feel like I'm nagging to get it right. I first met Jim at The Image when my hair was orange; compliments of the owner of another Va Beach salon. This woman had been doing my hair for 2 years and this was the second time in a row that she messed up. I wore a ball cap to work for 2 days, and was not sure where to turn for help. One of my co-workers (whose hair always looks fantastic) called Jim, her stylist and described my situation. He got me in the next day after work. The only immediate solution to my problem was to strip all the color from my hair. Jim's main concern was in keeping my hair from falling out and getting it back to a healthy condition. I spent several weeks as a platinum blonde, and even though this would have never been my choice of hair color, I got many compliments and it was a fun color for summer! Jim gave me great at-home hair care advice to help my hair heal. The condition of my hair improved so quickly, that Jim was soon able to add more color. I now love both my color and cut! After seeing how Jim transformed my once orange and dried out hair, my daughter and mother have both become his clients, and they are also very happy with his tallent. I have trusted her for the last almost decade to help me bring my hair to a manageable state, then to help me protect it as it grows, and to assist me in maintaining its length. She consistently trains to stay on top of the latest trends and looks, and was even a Matrix-selected trainer herself. I look forward to the day when I finally feel brave enough to try out color, because Vini is also a color EXPERT. (It was spectacular when many of the stylists and assistants dyed their hair pink to recognize B reast Cancer Awareness month.)The idea of leaving the area fills me with a sense of dread because I have never been so happy with not just a stylist, but a trusted partner in hair care, as I have with Vini. All my friends know I am so-o-o picky about how my hair looks. I found Soonie about 10 years ago after trying many different stylist in many different salons. It was discouraging!! Finally I came to the Image and talked to Soonie about what I wanted.

She patiently listened, got out a board of swatches of different hair colors, and we agreed on the base color and the highlights. I made the appt. for the following week.

I could hardly wait!! It was wonderful. I had finally found the stylist I had been looking for. She is always on time, never misses an appointment, and is just plan fun to talk to also! I read once that a woman's most important accessory is her hair. I believe that!

She may not have the actual award, but she should! She's the only person I trust to cut, color, and style my hair. She's not "scissor happy", and she knows how to get and keep your hair healthy. She always tells you the truth about your hair, the good and the bad. She gives excellent hair advice. She teaches you how to care for your hair at home too! She's worth her price and more!
