The heating element in our dry took a dump on New Year’s Eve (of all days) and it was going to be a few days before the repair person could get to us. I found this using a Yahoo search and it had 5 stars, so I gave it a try. This Laundromat is located on the corner of Rosemont and Holland Road. It's huge, you can’t miss it. There are several driveways in and out of the parking lot with ample, wide parking spaces. I loved the fact that there were automatic sliding doors in and out, so no setting your things down and messing with the doors! The employee was very nice and greeted me when I entered. This facility does not use quarters, but a credit card type system. She recognized that I had not been to a Laundromat in forever and took about 10 minutes to show me around and explain how all of the machines work and get me started with the credit system they use. They have several washers and dryers that accommodate 3, 4, or 5 wash loads, and 30 and 40 lb dryers. It is a little pricy about $6-8.00 a load to wash, and .44 cents to .64 cents to dry, but the loads wash and dry quickly! The facility was extremely clean! There are restaurant type seats inside to sit down and work, eat, or just wait. There is a wide screen TV by the seats as well. The employee that was there today was very diligent and asked the parents to keep track of their kids! She corrected the kids (when the parents weren’t) when they were running around, and spoke with the teenagers about sitting on the tables where people fold clothes, and kids trying to sit in the laundry carts. She was really on top of it all—very refreshing. I was dreading going, but overall it was a good experience and I would use them again despite it being a little pricy. I can accept that especially since the staff was great and the cleanliness of the facility. Worth the tradeoff. Hope this helps.
