We are from PA and Virginia Beach has been our vacation destination for the past 12 years. About 8 years ago we discovered the Edgewater and we've been going back there since then. Besides the reasonable price and great location we enjoy the luxury of having a full kitchen stocked up with everything you would have in your house. Having 2 full bathrooms is also a huge plus. They have a great website that you can see the pictures of the individual units and choose one that matches your taste. We can't wait to go back there this summer!!!

Although a reasonable price and the accommodations were clean w/ linens provided for the week, the decor was so dated it was ridiculous. Each unit is dependent upon the owner's provisions. In the case of the unit we rented, it looked like it was decorated with every old piece of furniture that was not needed at the owner's personal residence. Nothing was decent --I felt like I was inside a storage unit of discarded furniture. The kitchen was clean and nice but the LR and BRs had all old, scarred, mismatched junk furniture. The building is from 1974 and needs constant maintenance. After a rainstorm, we had water dripping down a bedroom wall. The faucets leaked also. It is oceanfront and convenient but the picture we saw of the unit we rented was definitely either doctored up or they took all the decent furniture home. I would rent there again because the price and location are good but I most certainly would not rent that unit again!

Great summer vacation place. Units are very comfortable and clean. Having 2 full bathrooms works out great with the kids....
