How do I contact them? I purchase a bed last year and need new slats.

Worst retail business I have ever dealt with. The owner doesn't care. How bout switching my brand new chair for a smaller less expensive floor model and then canceling an order (that was paid for) because I can't sell it that cheap. Also lying about going out of business, they are closing the store but selling out of the warehouse.

2 Revised-

Beware buyers! In 2011 my boyfriend and I purchased a leather couch that arrived with a tear on the side. When we called the store to discuss a replacement, the staff was extremely rude. Marie was our salesperson and was anything but helpful. After several weeks of us contacting the store repeatedly to see where our claim was in the process for a replacement couch, we finally were able to speak to the owner, John Buchheit. He took care of the issue and we received our replacement couch another 6 months later.

It is now three years later, and Viking is going out of business. We took the chance that things were better now and purchased a side table and coffee table. The side table was listed on sale for $350 with an original price of $459. We had purchased two of those same side tables in 2011 for $299.00 which my boyfriend explained to Dean, the sales manager. My boyfriend showed him our receipt of purchase. Dean then said he would sell it to him for $250 if he was going to buy a coffee table he had expressed an interest in. My boyfriend said yes and specifically asked for the one he saw on the floor. He had looked it over carefully and found it to be spotless and in great condition. When it was delivered one week later, it was clear that we had not received the same table. The one that arrived was coated in such a thick layer of dust with finger prints everywhere that it took my boyfriend over forty minutes to clean it (it's a three-layer movable table). The worst part was, it had a giant chip in the bottom layer of glass which the floor model my boyfriend picked out did not have. He immediately called Viking to let them know it was damaged and we needed a replacement. We have been trying to resolve this for three weeks now, but to no avail.

Each time we called the store, we were told that someone would get back to us. We were first told that Sharon from the warehouse would contact us. We followed up when we heard nothing and we were again told that she would call us. She did not. We still hadn't heard anything a few days later, so we went to the store and spoke directly with Marie who informed us that she could order a new one for us. She said it would be there in a week and someone would contact us.

We just called today after 17 days of waiting and my boyfriend spoke to Marie. She said the table that was delivered was the one from the floor after all and they did not need to replace it. My boyfriend explained that there was no way the table we received was the one from the floor due to the condition it arrived in one week after he saw it on the floor. She then put the sales manager, Dean, on the phone who acted completely unprofessional. My boyfriend couldn't event get a word in edge-wise while Dean yelled at him and shouted that the table was the right one and the sale was final. He then hung up on my boyfriend! I have never in my life dealt with a company that had such poor customer service and crossed the line of professional and ethical behavior. When I called back right away to speak to him myself, he kept me on hold for over 13 minutes before I finally hung up. When I called the store back, I asked to speak to the owner, since he helped us the last time we had an issue. Marie told me he was no longer involved in the sales part of the business and that Dean was the only person who could help us.

To have two horrible experiences with this company in the span of three years with an abhorrent customer service department and a sales manager that not only yells at customers but hangs up on them and then refuses to resolve issues, it is not surprising that it has an F with the Better Business Bureau for failure to respond to three previously filed complaints.
