I have been coming to huck (the owner) since I moved here in 1984. I have had all of my inspections/emissions testings done here. He lets me know when something is wrong and needs fixed and helps me with payments if the cost is high ( a lot of repairs at one time) in that I can pay him monthly. I have been happy with the work and if something is wrong or not done properly he will fix it. He helps me by driving me home and picking me up while the work needs done. He tests everything and gives you an itemized bill down to every piece of hardware and repair so you can ask questions if you don't understand. If there is a major repair he will let you know what needs to be done,how long it might take and possible costs. I would not have stayed with his garage this long if I haven't trusted him all these years.

I've been dealing with Chuck @ Oakmont Auto for many years. For as many years as he has been in business on Hulton Rd. Chuck has managed our repairs and inspections. No surprises. He knows that I travel out of town quite often and will always take my car at the last minute especially if I'm worried about something before a trip. He maintains a history on my cars, shows me the work that needs done ahead of time and offers his best recommendations for a fair price. Over the years Chuck has accommodated my work schedule, worked with me on cost, and most importantly I trust that my car is running safe when it leaves the shop.

I needed two used tires for my Chevy Malibu. I called Oakmont Automotive to see if they could help me, the guy was not friendly @ all over the phone. He told me he had a variety of used tires in the size I needed. I told him I would be out on my lunch hour and he was fine with that. I get there just to wait 15-20 minutes because everyone was eating lunch. He should have told me that on the phone. After eating lunch, he showed me 3 tires!!!! I don't consider showing me 3 tires to be a "VARIETY". Was late getting back to work. Weeks later I have my mechanic changing my brakes and he informs me that 3 of my lugs were stripped!!!!!! I called Oakmont Automotive and boy was he rude. He told me that he was not responsible and he was not paying my mechanic. I never mentioned anything about paying my mechanic!!!! Long story short, he offered to give me whatever I pay for the lug nuts. I wouldn't waste my time going back out there for a couple dollars. Keep the money and buy yourself a NEW ATTITUDE. By the way, the owner of Oakmont Automotive is who I am referring to. You really should treat your customers much better...you wouldn't be in business w/o them!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend Oakmont Automotive to my worst enemy (IF I HAD ONE)
