Joe Sikora has horrible business ethics. My fiancé and I are buying a home and used Innovative Insurance for Home owners and flood insurance. I arranged everything with Joe to get a quote. All communication was through Joe and myself until Joe called my fiancé (whom he requested her number from someone other than myself) and told her that he needed the credit card number to have for the application. She gave it to him. I called him within 30 minutes telling him he was not authorized to charge anything until we had a copy of the policy and I check with my bank about the coverage. He agreed. Within a few hours over $1100 in charges were put on our account by Joe's Company Innovative Insurance. After confronting Joe he apologized but still would not refund our money. We had to go to the Insurance company that Joe's agency used for our coverage and ask for a refund. They apologized for his "shady business" and will issue us a refund within 2 weeks. We hope that it doesn't hold up our closing for our new home in Florida. Please be aware of this crook!
