Complete Disaster as a business. Pay top dollar upfront. Wait weeks for finish! Listen to every excuse know to man...over and again. Yes their NICE people...because they idiots!

IF...You're a one percenter.Otherwise, you'll be waiting forever to get your stuff done, and you'll get excuses every time you check on it. Super sweet lady, but she puts the club's work at the top of her to do list. Infatuated with the biker lifestyle, she fancies herself a consigliere of the biker gang community.Her work isn't bad, and she'll probably keep your leathers fresh forever, but is it worth the hassle?Just go to Loves, and be done with it.

The owner of Stewart Leather's is a very kind, generous soul, but lacks what it takes to run a business. I had her make me a leather coat several years ago & she did a great job, although it did take a while. I referred a friend to her who just needed a simple leather handle added to a custom made purse. It's been 3 years since she dropped the purse off & she is STILL waiting. Every time she calls, she gets the same run-around. "I'll have it done in a few days & get back with you." And never does. I've been in several times to speak with her & she is always very apologetic, but fails to follow thru on her promises. Has difficulty keeping good help, etc. etc. etc...... Bottom line; she can not keep her word & you are better off taking your business elsewhere.

The only issue was quoted finnish date, how ever when you take a project to a one person shop you can be sure that you are not their only customer and they will be interupted more then once everyday. the work i had done was excellent and will return to Stewart Leather to have two more coats resized, I recommend Stewart it may take longer then you want but it will be done right!

Let me share my experience with Stewerts Leather with all of you. I read the few reviews online before going and hoping that the few nasty ones were just a fluke...Well I went in to see about having a pair of chaps made. Special order to my specific size and using the best quality leather they had. No problem, 260.00 Up FRONT for some chaps. I was told 4 weeks at most, 3 if I were lucky :) I had no issue paying up front, custom work, makes sense to a degree. Well 3 weeks had passed and it was almost fathers day. I was to ride 300 miles to see my Dad. The chaps would have been a great edition to my comfort. Well too bad, they werent done. A very LONG story shorted WAY up... Its been close to a full 5 Months now. They are all very nice in that shop, sadly NICE doesnt get the work done... If your having something done or made at Stewerts. Be prepared for a lot of sweet excuses....

I was told that they make a great product so I decided to have them make me a few things on one order. I was told what day they would be done. That day came and went without even a phone call to me. I have sence called and stopped in many times and keep getting the same reply. We are working on them and need a few more days. Or we are just to busy and have been pushed back. I dont know if I will ever get my products or even the quality as I have yet to see them. y the way it was a 3 week order and now it has been about 5 weeks!!!!

My experience with Stewart Leather was the worst. I have never been so dissapointed with the service and the quality of craftmanship. I've waited 2 months for my order, and I'm still waiting. I've come into the business and plenty of people had been picking up orders and dropping off orders. I wanted to warn them, but that would be unprofessional. For being a African American male, to me it seemed like she was playing favorites with color if you know what I mean!! I will never go back and encourage people to never go back to this place. Not only is she slow, but she has very poor communication skills. She never calls to let you know how your things are coming along. I give 2 thumbs down, and if I had a 3rd hand, I would give her 3 thumbs down!!!

I have tried to use Stewarts for over six years on several ocatiations. The same result every time. PROMISE, PROMISE AND NO DELIVERY. Last year a friend and I paid cash for vests and didnt recive them until sept. (not bad considering we orderd in march! ). When we finaly got them we had to have the "custom taylored vest" altered so they would fit. On a plea I let her work on a seat last month and had to go get the pieces today so that another company could put it back togrther. To many other options in town that will do "good work and not lie to you".

My husband took a pair of leather pants in to Stewart Leather on November 17th to be extended 4 inches. The woman there gave him an estimate of $65.00. After a couple of WEEKS the woman hadn't called nor had she even begun work on the pants! My husband called a few times, then finally went to the shop. After an extensive search, the woman found his pants and promised (again) to finish the pants in a couple of days. When my husband picked up the pants on December 27th, he was charged $125.00. Six weeks and and additional $60.00 later, he got his pants. Poor communication, poor service, poor integrity.
