I only rated them a 1 star because I had to. Inspection items that were missed cost us thousands of dollars in repairs and they deny any responsibility. I found large rotted wood and a hole in the structure roughly 2 feet by 1 foot the first time I dropped into the crawlspace. The inspector included a picture in his report that shows the foundation vent several inches below the large rotted wood area which proves the inspector was directly in front of this rotted hole in the wall. The vent in this image is the same vent in the other image as well as some of the plumbing features. The inspection company claims the rotted wood was not visible or accessible at the time of the inspection" even though the inspectors own image shows he was directly in front of it.

Beyond this, the inspector was late, rushed through, couldn't get his printer to work. Looking back, I should have followed him around to make sure my untrained eye found very evident items such as holes in the wall that he missed, but would have photographed if his camera was an inch higher in the picture he took. I have recently done what I can and discouraged some friends from using this company and I only hope more people will see the standard in which they stand by.

These inspectors are idiots. They cited a BARN as maybe not meeting building code requirements. Yes, you read that correctly; a BARN. I had to show these "professionals" that BARNS are agricultural buildings and are specifically exempt from building codes in Clark County WA. And these guys consider themselves professionals.
